Nice location and excellent sidewalk along the sea

Posted 06-Jan-2017
Pros: It's infront of the sea and comfortable.
Cons: Should be seriousely taken care in rooms or building because many things in the rooms are broken and didn't get fix.
Location: Walking ,biking and having picnic on the beach is wonderful.
Lovely beach front and awesome city. Good taking care environment. If you looking for a place that not crowded but not lonely, Paknam Pranburi is fit for you.

We loved our time there

Posted 19-Dec-2016 on Hotels
We loved our stay at the Pattawia even though it was the quiet time before Christmas and the new year. The staff are all lovely but most don't speak or understand much English, we didn't find that a problem and when needed the manager came to our rescue, he was very helpful and fluent in English. Lovely big rooms, huge beds (firm) and everything we needed. Pool fine, sea not so inviting as a bit rough during our stay. Our only gripe would be cold food, we only tried the breakfasts as they were included in our rate, but these put us off trying lunch or dinner. "American" breakfast was eggs cooked different ways with cold hotdog sausages, processed cold ham and salad with mayo. The fried were ok but cold, the scrambled were with onion and the boiled eggs were either hard boiled or virtually raw whatever was asked for e.g. Scrambled eggs on toast would always come with cold sausage salad etc. On the one morning when there were more guests a buffet breakfast was provided, fine but everything stone cold at 8.30. Enough about cold food, we loved our time there in a less touristy area of Thailand, in fact we extended our 4 nights to 6. If there book a scooter or Ken the 3 wheeler jobby from the man outside the Evason to explore the area

Pros: nothing
Cons: get things working as advertised ie sauna jaquisy jim equipment.the pool has most of the tile missing all in all dissapointing
Location: the location is miles away from any where.there is nothing to do around the location as most off the hotels are empty and shut
this hotel has no facilities working so how can it be called a spar. The location is no where near hoi hing and is 20 km away and takes 30 minutes by taxi.

Not exellent at all... :-(

Posted 02-Jan-2014 on Hotels
Lets start with the good things.. The service was good, the staff was very friendly and could speak English good enough.. The breakfast was nice, with a big variety.. all though it was sometimes hard to find a seat... but then again they borrowed me a tray so I could bring my breakfast up to my room.. The location is alright, even though there is no beach outside the hotel ( I think they are about to build it ) And my view from the balcony was very pretty.. Last but not least, the bed had a really good size, and the room had a lot of space... What I was disappointed about if the bathroom.. The luminaire was falling out of the bathtub, the shower was dirty and tiles were broken.. the water never got really hot, and the ceiling had major water damage ( you know, big black stains ) It seemed very, very old.. at least from the 70's.. So did the area outside near the pool.. and I had a lot of problems with their Wifi.. overall the stay was bearable, but I will not visit this place again..

Quiet beach area, great to relax

Posted 03-Jul-2013
Pros: Comft beds, great views
Cons: Replace broken tiles in pool
Location: Beach, village, The Very Good Restaurant, massages
Good location, if you want to be quiet and ride motorbikes along the beach. Lovely fishing village. Far from major towns. I love the views here, and the people are super friendly.
