Perfect location, helpful front desk staff, clean and cozy room with a perfect view of the church but still quiet at night.

The pictures are different from the actual hotel. 5-7 buildings are scattered around the area so make sure to know which building you are in. The dryer took over 2.5 hours and still didn’t dry so we took it to the nearest laundry mat. The staff are very friendly.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff was helpful especially Kata. There was only one issue that we experienced. The sink was slow to drain. We liked the location because it was close to the Ring Road access and easy access to downtown. Another issue is parking. They have 70 rooms but only 16 parking places. They instruct you to park in the neighborhood around the hotel. I was quite reluctant to park just anywhere but eventually settled upon a little business location right across the street. Oh, and we loved the Icelandic Lamb stew served in the evening. We recommend the hotel and should we go to Iceland again we would stay there again.
