The place was spars for sure. We couldn’t even find paper towels. The towels were basic, the bathroom floor felt slick/sticky, the window shades were falling apart, and really the whole residential complex seemed rundown. It’s a weird juxtaposition with the high end retail of the area. The one redeeming value of the place was how comfortable the bed was. I would say it was a basic inn.

Don’t expect help unless you live there.
Reservation confirmation was lost and only after having to get really ugly was it finally fixed. Concierge was useless, needed a wheelchair and was told it wasn’t their problem. Parking and getting to the room is a pain. Overall, this place was a pain in the ass. Apartment was decent though.

I'll start with the positives. The building is great. Nice pool area (unheated so too cold to be used in April), but the hot tub was nice and warm. Secure building, secure parking. Lots of dining options in a short walk, as well as a Whole Foods and CVS etc. 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths. Good TV package and smart TV which is great if others leave their accounts logged in lol, though Netflix wouldn't work, but whatever, we delt with it. Unit was reasonably clean. Negatives though - don't expect a fully stocked kitchen. There were no baking sheets (though there were pots and pans), only 4 spoons etc, and enough coffee for 4 cups for our 1 week stay. Nothing in the fridge or pantry so plan to buy everything you'll need if you're going to be cooking. 2 of the 6 chairs were broken (seats not attached), corner broken off of the coffee table, and the bed linins were sub par - no actual duvet cover, just a well worn sheet on top of it. There's no housekeeping which is fine, but there's nothing to do any cleaning yourself. No cleaning products besides dish soap. No kitchen towels or dish cloths to even do a sink of dishes or wipe counters. The unit faced east which means morning sun, plus a marquee sign outside one of the bedroom windows, but there's only blinds - no curtains, so as soon as the sun comes up you get full sun in the morning. Various light bulbs were burnt out. Sink disposal doesn't work, and the dishwasher backs up into the sink when it drains.

It was nice to have the whole apartment to ourselves. However, the pool was too small for 11 year old kids than I expected. One of the room had no lights so had to keep bathroom light on. A corner of the table was broken, and one of the chair in the living room look very dirty and stained (someone spill something and dried off). We traveled by air and expected soap, shampoo, towels, detergent available but I had to go out to buy soap because there were none in the unit on the day we arrived, only one small size shampoo and body soap, 2 small size conditioner total available for 2 rooms and no washing machine detergent. There were not enough towels. However, someone brought some more after I mentioned them. Also, on the day of check out, someone entered the unit at 9am to clean saying that they got a call saying we are leaving at 9am when our check out time was 11am.

The area around this property was amazing! I was very excited to see that when I arrived at the property. When entering the room however, I knew something was wrong. The air quality was horrible, the air conditioner was broken, and there were bugs in the bathtub. Once I had laid down in the bed to go to sleep, my friend shouts from the kitchen area that there were cockroaches in the sink. He killed 5 cockroaches. Ticks were also found in the room. Overall, great area but horrible place. Still waiting to see if they’re going to refund me since we didn’t even stay for the full reservation. 😬

Hairy stay
Overall, my stay here was decent! The only reason I say that is because upon arrival the bedding was stained and hairy, there weren’t any extra linen for me to use there wasn’t really any cleaning supplies. The utensils in the unit were dirty and there wasn’t any toilet paper and the shower curtain was filthy, and there was hair stuck to the shower curtain. There was hair in the washer…..at one point in time, I thought that my socks were a Dustbuster because of the amount of hair that they were collecting. Due to these things I had to go out and purchase my own toilet paper, paper towels, sheets, and blanket, as well as cleaning supplies, and when I reached out to the company that manages the property, they drag their feet and getting back with me and sent me a message the night before check out at 10:15 PM asking me if I would like housekeeping to come … like really smh I literally was checking out at 6:30am to make my flight! If it wasn’t for those issues, this would’ve been an amazing stay, but instead, I had to pay additional money to accommodate myself… and who wants to do that!

Overall I liked it but there are a few issues 1. Check in took an hour with several calls and txts to the 800#. 2. Access codes weren’t activated as indicated. 3. Unit is large and spacious but it’s located directly under the gym —which is a great gym btw— so guys drop their weights all day — despite signs asking 20-yr old males to be thoughtful— and building insulation is not sufficient to keep the noise from becoming very noticeable

Overall it was a nice place. We appreciated the coffee and coffee filter. Things we didn’t care for….no extra blankets, this meant someone was always cold. There were 4 of us staying, we had 4 bath towels, 4 hand towels and 4 washcloths. No pool towels and no towel or mat for the shower/bath. Only one key was given, this meant we had to leave and enter at the same time. Very inconvenient.

My husband and I arrived here at 8pm, after communicating with customer service that we would be arriving after the office closed. They said that it wasn't a problem. Well, there was no one to let us in, so I waited until someone left the office and I was able to sneak in to get a key. The parking garage is very difficult to find, as there are 3 parking garages in a row, so of course we selected the wrong door and had to call to get directions. When we finally got into the room, difficult to find!, the mattress in the room was a 12 inch piece of firm foam. Hardly comfortable. When I pulled the sheets back to have a better look, I found gum! Absolutely disgusting! I called customer service countless times, and Expedia to get a refund. There was a lot of back and forth, but eventually they agreed to a refund. How can someone sleep in a bed with gum in it in any circumstances, not to mention COVID. I am still waiting for my refund... it has been 2 weeks. I would not advise staying here. Not worth the hassle, and the accommodations are certainly not luxurious!

The apartment is very nice and would stay again because of the location. Quiet but plenty around and centrally located to everything in Houston. The bed was not quite as comfortable as I expected and neither of the bedrooms had a television which was a little surprising. The place is spotless and the communication was amazing. Will stay again...

We arrived at 10pm And if it would not have been for the dominoes guy we would not have got the keys. Also the description of where to park is not clear. But once you figure it out it’s easy of course.

Spent hours trying to get in and leave
I stayed 3 nights at this location while in town for business. I arrived after 8pm but I didn't think anything of it since this is an apartment complex above a high end shopping center. The arrival email stated to talk to the concierge or use the call box if no one was at the front desk. No one was at the front desk and the doors were locked. I used the call box with no luck, so I waited a bit before trying again. After about 45 minutes of standing out front, I called the 800 number on the email for help....while they were nice, they're only way to get me in was calling the concierge. Long story short, I got into the building when a resident left. Had the 800 number on one line with the key box company on the other trying to get the key cafe opened to give me my keys. Once i got my keys, the FOB wouldn't work, so i had to wait on another resident to show up. Finally i got to my room about 3 hours after arriving. I normally would just leave and get a refund, but this trip was previously booked by my boss and i didn't want to cause unnecessary problems. I emailed the company and got some crappy apology but that was about it... Also on checking out, the key cafe box wouldn't open or recognize my ID code or phone numbers. So i left the keys with the concierge. He said he would let the key cafe people know, but i got an email from them later asking me where the keys were. I am keeping a close eye on my bank account for fees since i don't trust this property at all.
