House remodeled- had a maintenance issue with circuit breaker in kitchen but otherwise worked out well for us as home base. We loved reading in the sunny sitting room, and the formal living area was great for watching TV at night. The house is older but has been nicely renovated (heads up: water temp in showers can be inconsistent). Overall, a fantastic amount of space for the price. It checked every box on my wish list: proximity to Rice University, safe neighborhood, cleanness and comfortable beds. We didn’t use the kitchen much but I can tell it is well equipped. Owner Charissa is extremely responsive to our questions and requests. We could not park our car in the garage because the door was not working.
