"The apartment was very clean and comfortable. We had a problem with the air conditioner, called the property manager and it was immediately addressed without any issues. The only negative would be the stairs leading to the second floor - there are a lot of them and they’re steep. Our daughter had some difficulty (she has arthritis) but otherwise it was a lovely place to stay. "

"My family had a wonderful experience staying at Tim and Amy's VRBO as we visited family nearby in Houlton and Monticello. The size of the VRBO was bigger than I expected, and everything was just really nice, well kept and organized. The landscaping around the property was also amazing. I grew up coming to Maine in the summers and the backyard was idyllic - wildflowers, tall grass, a well manicured nature path into the woods, and some deer. So easy to get into Houlton, lots of privacy, great cooling and heating, nice showers...everything we could have asked for and more. It is a duplex, we had neighbors the first night and we couldn't even tell except for the other car in the driveway. Amy and Tim designed the duplex well with the garage in the middle, so it gives an additional buffer against any sound. We don't get to Maine often, but when we do...no doubt we'll be looking to stay here again. "
