"This is a great hotel! Yes it is 'out of town' but it is only a 10 min walk to a metro station on line 4 which takes you into the centre in no time at all. The area is not pretty but nor is it 'sketchy', we felt perfectly safe walking around there. Near to the beach and the Diagonal Mar shopping centre. We have a teen and a tween and chose this hotel specifically for the quadruple family room and the rooftop bar which didn't disappoint. The room was huge and had a bed for each child and a separate toilet/sink in addition to the lovely main bathroom. The only downside was a lack of clothes storage space given the size of the room. There is a table with chairs, a TV, safe and a mini bar too. The rooftop bar and pool are fabulous. The pool is not a kids pool but is big enough for older kids and adults to have a swim in. Plenty of sun loungers and shade. The prices of wine and beer very competitive for a hotel, though cocktails were a little pricey. We ate at the rooftop bar and the food was great, especially the falafel! Every staff member we met was friendly and helpful, especially at reception and the rooftop bar. Our room was really clean but our cups were never changed and our coffee was never replenished. We had an issue with a water leak in our room and had to change rooms but it was done very efficiently and with apologies. If we return to Barcelona we would stay here again."

"Shoutout to William and Danny who made our stay so warm and welcoming. Highly recommend to stay here for two solid reasons: first the location is in a fantastic neighbourhood where you are walking distance away from the beach, parks, and local shops. Second the amenities are great here: 2 pools, delicious bfast, gym with sauna and massage chairs. Our room was quiet and clean. There are quirky and clever touches everywhere, we loved the vibe. The only feedback we have is that the hallway smells of old/musty carpet. Not sure there’s a way to air out the hallways. 10/10 and highly recommend."

"Great location and friendly staff. Rooms were nice, a little small, and there was nowhere to put clothes so you had to work from your suitcase the whole stay. Table was very small and crowded so it was difficult to sit with a computer and work. You can be in the pool at no charge but if you want to sit by the pool, you have to rent chairs. Bar and restaurants were good."

"Flight got cancelled and staff did not charge us for night we missed, we truly appreciated the gesture. All staff were super friendly. Provided taxi service to airport. Far from center but metro station nearby, really affordable!! Recommend!! Room was small but convenient and clean + AC."

"Really happy with our stay. It’s a basic hotel but very well maintained and everything is clean. Room was plenty big enough and the bathroom was nice. Staff were very friendly and helpful when we had questions. I appreciated the water fountain in reception and drinks are available at a very reasonable price. Location was ideal with the metro just a minute away allowing city access and the bus 2 mins away to get to the beach. If you’re after a budget friendly stay that is close to transport and clean then I would recommend. If you want a fancy hotel then this isn’t it but then you’ll have to pay for that. We were happy here"
