"As soon as you walk in jack shack it is homely, clean , comfortable its a home away from home , checkin was easy the kitchen facilities modern clean .We had our 2 dogs and having a place to stay that caters for your fur babies makes the stay relaxing . Plenty of space and secure outdoors "

"Sunset cottage was such a wonderful find, one of the best places we’ve stayed in. Beautiful views from the veranda and from indoors, out to the river…the sunsets didn’t disappoint. There’s a great path along the river to walk and explore Burrum Heads. Very conveniently, there’s a Foodworks, bakery and fish shop across the road. The cottage has a beautiful interior, fantastically equipped kitchen and we especially enjoyed the magazines and many other thoughtful inclusions. Donna from Balmy Breaks was easy to contact and very helpful. Four nights wasn’t long enough! "

"House is tired, mildew in light fittings, aircon vent and some fly screens clogged with dust and fluff, only one hot plate working normally, other 3 heating red roar, no drip plates under the hotplates, rust in oven and hotplate surround rings. Lovely fridge but overall, a very tired, small 3 bedroom house. Compared to other beachfront Woodgate accommodation, this house is not worth the money charged."
