"I booked the apartment room for one night. I was traveling by myself and had a long journey that day. Upon arrival, the host told me that there had been a 'mistake' and that she had given the room away to other guests. "Der var intet personale ved ankomst. Svær at få fat i. Havde svært ved at finde bookingen. Affaldsposer udenfor indgangsdøren. Værelserne var kolde, lykkedes aldrig at få varme på 1. Sal. Værelset i stueplan var ikke færdiggjort, bare præg af hurtig "gør det selv" Værelserne lugtede gammelt og indelukket. Grøn mug i vinduesrammerne. Også utrygt at hoveddøren ikke var låst, ingen info om mulighed derfor. Morgenmaden som vi havde bestilt, var mildest talt under lavmålet. Ikke på nogen måde...

"We had an all-around perfect experience at the Dorint Hotel at Sylt. The staff was incredibly friendly and generously allowed us both an early check-in and a late checkout. The breakfast buffet was huge and absolutely delicious. I had everything you could possibly think of, from eggs and fish to fresh German bread, yogurt, fresh fruit, Rote Grütze, cheeses, and so much more. Our room was comfortable, recently renovated with brand-new beds, and spotlessly clean, featuring large windows and a lovely balcony. The location is ideal, very close to the beach as well as the charming little town with its shops and restaurants. To top it all off, the hotel offers a great spa and a fantastic indoor pool. We couldn't have asked for a better stay!"

"Nice old-style hotel with new upgrades. Breakfast is good and you can have dinner there as well. Easy to walk to restaurants and nearby shopping. Parking is a bit hard to attain, especially if you don't have a compact car. Full size cars are hard to park in the area. Try to avoid summertime if you require AC, as the rooms I've stayed in don't have AC. This is the only downside."

"This was a fantastic place and fantastic value stay; the room, kitchenette and bathroom were immaculate - super clean. The room was really well decorated, the bed was comfortable, the bedding was clean, the shower was hot and had great water pressure. There was a nice view of the garden. Everything was brilliantly designed and worked. For example, the bedside light had both a USB A and USB C charging point underneath; the first I’ve seen to have both. When I called ahead because I’d be arriving late, Bettina was super helpful and then, when I was checking out, Grace could not have been more brilliant, giving me directions to where I was going, offering to store my luggage. I would definitely stay here again if I returned to Tonder. One tiny thing, if you have heavy luggage or have any mobility issues, you might want to request a ground floor room as you have to go up a metal staircase for the first floor. I was on the first floor and felt very secure. Plus it’s four minutes away from Tønder station. Highly recommended."

"The property had flaking paint in bedroom looked like water damage. Overall cleanliness was poor lots of dust and cobwebs particularly upstairs behind sofa bed. Covers off sockets in two rooms. Lamp needs attention upstairs. Needs curtains in bedrooms to block out the light. We have stayed at this resort three times never had issues before."
