Any island in norther Australia is going to be expensive as all equipment and consumables come by barge. This accommodation was still very good value for money. Motel was cool & comfortable. Great bed & good TV. A little expensive. TI has very limited dining options. Shame not at least 1 good restaurant other than the pubs. Overall a memorable place to visit
