"Mother nature was showing us who was in charge when we arrived and Dan made sure we were safe and happy. He went above and beyond. Checking in on us and stopping by. This was our 3rd stay at the property so that should say a lot. The location cannot be beat. Off the beaten path and relaxing. We still did plenty of activities. We have already booked our next visit. My favorite place to stay on the Island."

"We were welcomed to the big island during a record breaking Kona low storm. Dan was in communication regularly to be sure we were ok and brought extra towels. We had a great trip and the house was fantastic. "

"The room was clean and it is basically like a big tent. It was raining and windy the two nights we were there and it was really loud with the sound of rain hitting the cover and material flapping in the wind. Everything inside felt damp including the sofa. The yurts are built on a rural residential area and there is nothing within walking distance. There is a very very distant view of the ocean if you stand on the property in the right spot. There is no running water inside the Yurt. It has a microwave, fridge, coffee maker, toaster and cooking utensils but no sink. The bathroom and shower is in a separate building a short walk away. The drive from the Yurt to the Volcano National park is an hour and 10 mins away. The advertisement says it is an 8 min drive. The internet wasn't working but it was not a big deal and we purchased a roaming package instead. We are used to camping and roughing it a bit but this yurt fell short of our expectations. "

"We spent the week with our school group and had an amazing time. The property was immaculate and well-provisioned. There was a variety of activities to keep the kids entertained. We will definitely be returning again soon!"
