"Ive stayed at this property many times, its clean, quiet and next to the few black sand beaches with fishing and diving a short walk or drive away. Peaceful country retreat. Just stop by a grocery store and stock up and you'll enjoy your stay. Naalehu and Pahala is close by for gas and supplies. Enjoy your Stay..."

"What a fantastic spot and view! Such a wonderful spot to begin and end our days! We had plenty of room for a large multi-generational family and enjoyed exploring the area with this as our base. The kitchen had everything we needed! Kids loved the pool. Sunsets were outstanding! And loved visiting nearby spots in and around Captain Cook and Kona as well as Volcanoes National Park!"

"This property has beautiful views, was well stocked and is very family friendly. The upstairs is comfortable and I loved the artsy decor. The downstairs got a little warm, but on the last day, I realized there was a big fan in the closet. My grandkids enjoyed chasing the colorful geckos. The host, Cheryl, is super nice and was very accommodating. The only drawback for me was the road to the property. I have acrophobia, but my son drove and we managed."

"We came longing for a slower pace, for peace and quiet, for the ocean, the warm Hawaiian breeze and no distractions. This house was ALL that and MORE. Though we journeyed out for manta rays, the volcano, kayaking, a coffee plantation, and other adventures, we spent unbelievable hours at the house. It was a wonderful week of real vacation! We highly recommend this house to anyone wanting to kick back and relax."

"This was a lovely place to stay for our family of six (kids ranging 9-16). It is not new, but it has a lovely homey feel and was clean. We put two kids in bunk beds, one on the couch, and another on the living room bed. The living room space was comfortable for watching movies together and the dining room/lanai accommodated us well for meals. We appreciated that the location was a bit cooler (no AC needed) and secluded, making it worth the slightly longer drive to local beaches. I really appreciated that there were a variety of stocked pantry items that minimized the condiments/spices/etc that we needed to buy in town. The hosts were very kind and welcoming to both us and our children."
