"The Housekeeping staff were amazing and extremely helpful. The front desk personnel were helpful and competent but not very personable. The bell service and the valet were very understaffed and trying their best to service guests, to the point they were visibly stressed and flustered ."

"Clean room, loved the pool/hot tub. Staff miscommunicated about how to pay for my stay, and attempted to authorize my card twice, which led to frustration and confusion. Power went out twice. First time I was in my room, I called the front desk to ask what was going on, and the receptionist was extremely rude and acted like I was bothering her for asking - we were in the middle of getting ready for the day and needed lights, and also had perishables in the fridge (which barely got cold anyway). Second time it happened when I was in the elevator - causing it to drop which was super scary. Again the front desk was rude when we used the call button in the elevator. Reported it to the front desk and they basically shrugged it off. Close to an ABC, target and a mall/food court. Wonderful housekeeping staff. Also had an excellent experience with Shandan at the pool. Overall, I’d stay here again if it was a cheaper option - but the staff (while aggressively polite) weren’t very accommodating or helpful when issues arose. "

"The hotel is great value and has everything you need. Rooms are clean and common areas are in good shape. The hotel is a little dated, but fits the vibe of Honolulu. We would highly recommend getting the breakfast as it had a decent selection with coffee and fresh fruits. I am recommending this hotel to all of my friends and would stay here again."
