Not close to beaches. Don’t stay here if you are coming here for a Hawaiian vacation. Rooms are small. No one asked us how our stay was. They were not accommodating when we missed our first night due to our flight being cancelled.

I was expecting to stay on a higher floor but ends up having room at 6th floor at Kona Tower and facing with parking view of the mall 😆. I will stay there again but will make sure next time I will stay at the tall building. From front desk to room cleaner, to any worker i'd seen around are all friendly and approachable. Very good service!

conveniently located (walking distance) to the convention center where I attended an event. Friendly waitress at the Pint and Jigger restaurant/bar. Didn't get her name but she was very accommodating with a great personality and demeanor. She contributed to a very great experience.

First time there was a awsome experience for me and my family. If you do decide to go i suggest you take the breafast add on option. Its a restraunt in the hotel that serves breakfast buffet and is excellent

We loved the hotel! I do think that we were given a very cheap and small room because we booked through a third party. The person that picked our room looked at us weird when we told them that we did not want to upgrade. I loved the restaurant on the first floor. Great customer service and great food. I would stay here again. Great location!!

Everything is within walking distance from the hotel. The friendliness of the staffers. Their accommodation is stop knots. I will stay here again when i come back to Hawaii.

I have stayed multiple times at the Ala Moana Hotel. Each time it is lovely. Easy dining options of all price ranges especially being next to the mall. Staff are lovely and show Aloha every time I come. I will continue to frequent this hotel in the future.

Rooms are dated. Hair in the bathtub when we arrived. furniture was dusty. No complimentary bottled water in the rooms. Vending machine on our floor was broken on our first night. Front desk staff gave me different answers for the same question in a span of 12 hrs.

Overnight at Ala Moana before a 10 night cruise to Vancouver was just perfect. We opted for breakfast included which was plentiful. We had dinner in there brew pub and the food a service excellent. Got a late checkout of noon and lounged around the pool until time to leave for the cruise port (late embarkation). Very good experience.

Walking distance to mall is always a plus. Only thing we don’t like was having to change rooms midway stay. Room next to us were always yelling, fighting and smoking pakalolo and the entire floor smelled of it.

All of the Ala Moana staff we came into contact with were very helpful and friendly. We had issues with our key cards not always working properly, but they would eventually work. Maybe some improvement could be made in that area

Look, everything in Hawaii is over priced. If they could, they would charge you to breathe their air. Best part of this hotel is that it is next door to Ala Moana shopping mall. Outside of that, nothing to get excited about.

The room seems smaller than advertised but overall the stay was good. The bathroom door was cracking the walls are a little thin. The signature restaurant the 36 floors is a can’t miss happy hour from 4:30 to 6:30 is well worth it for the price. Overall, the day was good staff was friendly and very accommodating.

We had a nice stay, my wife and 3 kids (all under 5). We wouldn’t book it again, seemed like a hotel for seniors. The room shower was old fashion, older tv (can’t connect phone), and what I thought was weird is the pool and little gym they have closes at 7pm. Perfect hotel if you looking for a quiet relaxing stay!

Staff was very friendly. The only issue is when we got to the room, my son was going to sleep on the pull out sofa, kind of got super grossed out because it wasn't made and there was several blood stains on the mattress. The housekeeper was super sweet and doubled up on sheets. Other then that we really enjoyed staying there. room number was 3705 should you want to change the mattress.
