Staff were lovely and location was great in Hanoi. However the plumbing wasn't the best and often left a smell. Also, I arrived early and they held my suitcase for me until check in time. Although this is kind, I would question the security behind this as i went in and out of that room a few times and other people's belongings were there. Seems like anyone could take it if they had to temporarily store something as well. Be aware it's very noisy on the street below.

This was a decent stay. We got a suite so we had a balcony which had a great view of the city and got us away from the noise of the street. The bed was very comfortable and clean. The balcony was super dirty when we arrived, but was looked after as soon as we mentioned it. The only knock was we had to use the biday sprayer to fill the toilet tank so we could get an appropriate flush every time.

"Everything was nice. The hotel staff was friendly. It's a basic hotel but that's all I needed. I had a room with no window which was also fine and I knew when I booked. I took away one star because I was a little concerned about a lamp in the room that would glow half bright during the night, which ..."
