"If you are visiting San Antonio but want to have a quiet farm place to stay, this is it. Deer every morning checking in on how you are doing, a breezy night cap on the porch reliving the days adventures before bed. The nighttime sky is just breathtaking over the hill. The beds are comfortable, and the rooms have everything you need. If the hens are happy fresh eggs are for breakfast.The hosts Camille and Bart are awesome, do yourself a favor and stay here."

"If you love nature, peace and quiet, and rustic environments, you will love this little cabin in the woods. My girlfriends and I had a nice retreat from technology, traffic noise, and the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We saw numerous deer, turkey, & birds. There is some dust, and a spider or two, so skip this place if that is a problem for you. There is a ceiling fan over the double bed, but bring a fan if you like moving air for the twin beds in the front room. Shannon is very responsive and kind. I will definitely come back in the fall when it is cooler to get my “back to nature fix.”"

"Great family home. I will say the old family pictures made the place feel like a rustic HOME rather than a generic rental property. A few members of our group found the pictures creepy but others felt it wasn't an issue. I must add it is ranch life so expect all sorts of crawly critters as we found some bugs and scorpions inside the house. Bug spray and insect repellent are a must! The many areas to hangout it were excellent for us to gather together yet retreat to our own spaces when we needed a bit of retreat to ourselves. Very beautiful scenery and relaxing areas!! We will definitely be back!!"
