"Located right off the highway, this hotel is clean, comfortable and convenient. John at check in was welcoming, courteous and efficient. The room was spacious enough wirh a clean bathroom, fresh linen and towels. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was sufficient for a quick bite. The only drawback, in the words of the Paul Simon song "Duncan": Couple in the next room Bound to win a prize They've been goin' at it all night long Well I'm tryin' to get some sleep But these motel walls are cheap. C'est la vie."

Lake Wanoka Resort

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We planned to stay at Lake Wanoka Resort Friday through Sunday, but loved the peace and quiet so much that we added another night. The wonderful staff made it incredibly easy and accommodating. We stayed in Cabin 3, with two bunk beds and a double bed. Everything was very clean, with a full private bathroom, hot water, working A/C, and a Roku TV. There's also a pond for swimming and a fantastic honor-system general store with ice, food, souvenirs, and old-time candy. The staff was extremely pleasant, and having KC Peppers Bar & Grill right there is another huge plus. The surrounding area makes the stay even better. Hartler Farms is minutes away for incredible fresh milk and meat, while Alpine Restaurant & Deli had the best beef bacon and Canadian bacon I've ever had. There are wonderful local dairies, butchers, farms, and restaurants everywhere. You can buy some of the best local meat and dairy around, bring it back, cook an amazing meal, and enjoy the peace of the campground. Well worth our 4+ hour drive. Clean, peaceful, welcoming, and a place we would absolutely return to. Five stars!"

"We arrived late and had not read the hours on the listing. Eli woke up in the middle of the night to welcome us and get us checked in even though it was beyond normal operating hours! The place was cute and unique, great bang for your buck and wonderful staff! Eli is amazing and I would recommend the hotel. Please make sure you don’t do what we did and try to check in late!"

Quaint, peaceful, and wonderfully private, it offers incredible views in every direction—the kind that make you want to slow down, breathe deeply, and stay a little longer.The location is ideal: secluded enough to feel like a quiet retreat, yet close enough to town for just the right amount of activity, shopping, and local charm. A standout is the nearby farm-to-table restaurant, Native, which offers an exquisite dining experience and makes the area feel even more memorable.For anyone looking for beautiful scenery, tranquility, and easy access to all that Honesdale has to offer, this mountaintop getaway is a gem."
