Oceanfront Two bedroom Condominium with property hot tub on Water

  • Part of The Ocean House Inn located in Homer at base of spit in a quiet neighborhood directly on Water . Amazing views of glaciers spit and Kachemak Bay with no obstructions. This oceanfront upper level corner unit sleeps 4 comfortably but does have a trundle bed for number 5. It has a full living room with big comfortable couch, electric fireplace and Large flat screen tv. A full kitchen with dining table and breakfast bar. One bathroom with tub/shower combo. The master bedroom has a king with pillow topper and soft luxurious bedding and its own tv just in case you want a little privacy. The second bedroom is smaller with queen, same pillow topper and luxurious bedding as well and trundle bed better for an extra kiddo. In addition you have a huge deck with lots of patio furniture, propane fire pit and bbq. All our guests have access to our outdoor hot tub and private beach access. Which is a rocky hiking trail down to beach. Fresh towels are available daily and there is a nice little laundromat less than a block from us.
    Few properties are on the water like we are but still in a quiet neighborhood so you are able to unwind with a cocktail ( wine glasses in room), take a soak ( robes in room), grill your daily catch and just take in the view. We are not a party spot but a place to relax and enjoy , no smoking or pets on property and quiet hours are observed.

This is my new favorite place to stay in Homer. The rental was SO cute and the views from the property cannot be beat. Sunny was a very nice host!

Beautiful views, nicely decorated condo right on water

We enjoyed our time visiting Homer and parts of the condo. We relaxed on the porch and in the hot tub a few times and watched movies from the comfy couch. We thoroughly enjoyed the view and access to the beach. However, the rooms were a little awkward. I slept in the upstairs bedroom and couldn't stand in part of the room next to my bed because of the drastic angle of the roof. It would probably be fine for kids, but we were all adults. Also, there was a lot of furniture but no luggage racks. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and eating outside. The biggest problem was that when we arrived I started having a problem with my allergies and we could see a lot of hair on the couch, floor and our clothes. After contacting the owner, she provided a new vacuum and other amenities and apologized for the pet fur. Overall, it was a nice place to stay!

Couldn’t be any nicer!

This was a beautiful place to stay and relax. The apartment was clean and the furnishings were perfect. The view of the bay from the hot tub is amazing We will definitely be coming back. Thanks so much!

Top of the Spit

Beautiful property! Comfortable, cozy and perfectly furnished. Amazing views of the Mountains sorrounding the Spit and a great location to experience the changes in the tide. Our unit was perfect for a family of 4-5. Excellent location to the Spit and local grocery. Bonus was seeing moose hanging out in the neighbors yard! Would definitely recommend to anyone and we will stay here when we return to the Land if the Midnight Sun!
