Breathtaking Views of Kachemak Bay

Welcome to Homer! Our accommodations are clean and comfortable, with breathtaking views of Kachemak Bay, mountains, glaciers, and the Homer Spit.
The apartment is on the second floor above our own garage, has a private entrance, one full bathroom and two bedrooms (Queen bed, Full bed w/ twin). Fully equipped kitchen with dining table, living room, washer and dryer, internet and Roku (for streaming channels).

Homer is one of the most beautiful places in the world, with many outdoor activities, exceptional fishing experiences and exciting moose viewing!

Property was just as described. We loved our time there. Great view of the Spit from the large windows. Host gave wonderful suggestions as to where/when to see wildlife close to the property and restaurants in the area. Would definitely stay again!

Amazing stay

Tanya and Marc went above and beyond to ensure we had a smooth and comfortable stay. Upon arrival we were greeted with an amazing view and home made banana bread. By far the best location and service we've experienced. We debated whether we wanted to go experience more of Homer or stay in the VRBO and soak up the beautiful view from the couch.

Great location and beautiful views

We absolutely loved the condo! It was incredibly quiet and spotlessly clean, with stunning views of Kachemak Bay. The location was perfect—we really enjoyed being able to see the Homer Spit from the property. The home itself was beautifully decorated and felt warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. It was so easy to settle in and feel at home. We also appreciated all the thoughtful little touches around the house—they really made the stay special. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

I liked the place so i reserved for two nights. We are completely pleased with Moose View. Enjoyed the bed, shower, tv, washer, dryer etc.. Very nice quiet and great view of Homer spit. Will book again next trip to Homer. Host provided banana bread and it was terrific.

This was one of the best house rentals I've stayed in. The views of Kachemak Bay alone made it worth it, but the space was also clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with kitchen and bathroom supplies. The beds were very comfortable (even the sofa was comfortable!) and it was so nice to have a washer/dryer available. The cookies were delicious, too. :) Beautiful place, thank you so much for renting it out at such a reasonable price!

This place had plenty of room for 4 adults, everything you need to prepare meals, shower and relax. But the view was the cherry on top! We truly didn’t want to leave!

Fantastic stay at Moose View

We stayed for 3 nights at moose view in August. The unit was very clean and inviting. It had nice decorations and had a lot of nice amenities that help make a stay perfect. The location is on the hill with the most wonderful view of the spit, katchemak bay and state park. We really enjoyed our stay here and was our favorite in our 2 week Alaska trip.

Spectacular Home Away from Home

Words cannot describe how nice this rental is. It has everything you need and more. The hosts could not have made it any more welcoming then they did. The banana bread was such a nice gift. The rental is immaculate and makes you feel at home.

I can not say enough good things about this property. The place was immaculately clean and well maintained, the owners were very responsive to our needs. They even provided the best banana bread we have ever had. View was spectacular! Our first night a moose bedded down for the night right outside our window. We will return!!

We had a great week at Moose View. The host was very responsive and did a great job creating a warm and comfortable space. The black out curtains in the bedrooms were a bonus! The kitchen was well stocked and the couches and beds were very comfortable. The views are spectacular, especially at night with the lights on the Homer Spit. We will be back for sure!

Spectacular View

We enjoyed our relaxing stay at the Moose’s View. It was a perfect location for exploring Homer, close to town, yet far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. It was very comfortable and clean, and had everything we needed for our three night stay. We loved the beautiful view of the Homer Spit, Katchemak Bay, and the surrounding mountains. We saw bald eagles and moose from the living room window, and sandhill cranes in the neighbor’s yard. We look forward to staying here again on our next visit to Homer.

Wonderful views, cozy suite

The two-bedroom above the garage suite was perfect for our family of five. The views of the bay and of the spit were spectacular. The living room was cozy and the TV was great for the adults to relax and watch while the kids snoozed. We didn't use the stove, but it was stocked well enough for lunches and cold breakfasts (or toast). They also kindly left us some welcome muffins. The location was good for being close to town but also far enough to have the great view. There was a viewpoint at the top of the Skyline Dr which was close to the house for a great panorama of the area. There was also a quiet wildlife viewing area nearby.

Homer Girls Getaway Weekend

Spectacular views of the Kachemak Bay and Homer Spit!!!!! Located at the end of the street, this is the only structure so there is no traffic. The open concept of the kitchen and living room area allows for easy conversation and constant glances to get a view of beautiful Kachemak Bay! It is clean and the beds are comfortable. I will definitely be back, with or without my friends. Overall, this is a 5***** place in Homer!

Amazing views!

Check in process super easy. Everything was clean and inviting. The banana bread was a nice touch and super delicious! Our boys loved it too! The decor was fantastic down to the wildlife plates. We got to see a mama and baby moose thanks to the owner messaging to say they were outside. We wished our stay there was longer. Felt comfortable and made ourselves at home. Perfect Location Stunning view!

This really was the perfect location! Close enough to town but far enough away that we could enjoy the peace and quiet of the mountainside. And the view! Wow! Double picture window in the living room and huge picture window in the master bedroom. Overlook of the mountainside, bay, Homer Spit and mountains/glacier across the bay! Unit was perfectly clean and perfectly supplied with everything we may have needed. Owners are super nice people!
