"Honestly, it's one of my best hotel experiences so far. My wife and I stayed here for the 4th of July weekend to hit up Watkins Glen State Park, among few other Finger Lake and Falls. We didn't realize the hotel was smack in the middle of Cornell University until we arrived. We ended up doing some walks on the campus and came to realize how beautiful and neat the campus was. We really appreciated the camous location and a great view of Ithaca and the forest from an elevation. Seems like the hotel had many of the hotel management students from the university, which was interesting. The folks from the front, valet, and restaurant were all extremely courteous and professional. They were the most friendly bunch! The room was clean and spacious, and the bathroom water pressure was good. (Although our kleenex got super damp and wet for some reason). Thought the AC was a bit musky and too loud but got used to it, no problem. 2nd floor restaurant is decent and elevators pretty fast. Overall my wife and I had a very pleasant stay here and would recommend it to anyone visiting Ithaca area!"

"We were hesitant about staying at this hotel but trusted recent reviews and it did not disappoint. It was on a great location, owners were kind/generous, and the room was exactly what we wanted. We received a free upgrade prior to arrival which was unexpected. Would stay here again with family if we return to the Ithaca area."

"Beautiful area, the only improvement Id make is having staff to clean up common areas on busy weekends. But thats more on the guests that are slobs. Staff are kind and always smiling, property is fantastic!"

"Property is a bit ways from town. Area is extremely peaceful. Cabin has plenty of space and nice open feel. Beforehand, owner was initially responsive however would have liked that to continue during our stay as we did not receive much during our stay. Listing should really mention steep spiral stairs to basement and to upstairs as for our small children needed help for safety as well as one adult who had a bad knee could not do these stairs. Recommend non slip treads for safety. Also recommend a bit of cleaning with a bleach product to jacuzzi and showers. Beds are very comfortable. Kitchen was stocked with basics. Indoor pool is quite large. Hot tub was clean. Lots of hammocks was nice. Closet doors in bed rooms need to be repaired but not a big deal for us. Laundry machine on top floor was convenient. Providing pool towels would be a nice addition. Speed limit in village of Homer changes quickly so watch your speed. No telescope on site.perfect for gathering of large family/group. We found a cd player in pool house. I would recommend bringing your own cds or possibly owner providing some more choices. Or better yet a Bluetooth speaker. Overall very nice place."
