This was such an idyllic spot! We loved the walk to the Holt Pier, the jaw dropping views all around us, the remote quiet, and the friendly, helpful staff. A perfect fjord getaway!

We had such an amazing stay at Holt Inn! Cindy was the sweetest host and really made our stay special. She was super friendly, gave us great recommendations, and made us feel so welcome. We were the only guests there during the winter season, but she still made us a whole breakfast buffet with warm pastries in the morning and really good coffee. 🥐☕️ She also let us borrow bikes to ride down to the beach, which had incredible views. The whole area was unreal - surrounded by fjords and ocean, with sheep on the farms, seals, and tons of birds. The inn itself was super cute, cozy, and warm. It was such a unique experience and definitely one of the most memorable parts of our Iceland trip. We’re so glad we stayed here!

A beautiful inn hosted by the nicest staff who go out of their way to ensure you have a memorable stay. Lovely rooms, many cozy common areas and a wonderful hot tub hidden in the trees . The breakfast buffet was delicious. Cindy gave us maps and recommendations for our next days travel. The Holt Inn was by far the nicest place we've stayed at yet and we highly recommend it.

Lovely Inn in the middle of nowhere next to our favorite restaurant/cafe in all of Iceland. Staff was amazing and truly cares about their guests. Excellent breakfast too :)

A charm of a place

Very cozy place with gorgeous scenery. Very clean, confortable and peaceful place. Breakfast was very nice and coffee in Iceland is always very good. Love this place.

Wonderful place!

This family owned inn is great. You feel like home. Breakfast is very good, the room is super clean and comfortable. The service is outstanding and they have a hot tub!!! Beautiful landscapes can be seen from the inn. Love it!

We loved Holt Inn! It has a unique history and wonderful hosts and owner. The room was just right and the inn itself has a large lounge to relax in. The town of Flateyri is close by where we had a great dinner at the local pub called Vagninn. Definitely recommend both Holt Inn and Vagninn!

A hot tub with a mountain view, a delicious breakfast, beautiful grounds and convenient check-in are real bonuses. All was as advertised. Anna was especially accommodating, offering and sharing her homemade cakes and jams at breakfast. Highly recommend and would love to stay there again.

Breathtaking location

This inn is located in an absolutely gorgeous area of the Westfjords that will take your breath away. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Room was very nice. The staff were very accommodating to our schedule change and helped make our trip stressfree and relaxing. I would definitely stay here again

One of our favorite stays in Iceland! We arrived pretty late into the night but there was no hassle checking in. Room was clean, bed was comfy! Take advantage of the hot tub, it was a treat soaking under the northern lights. To top it all off, a delicious complimentary breakfast buffet.

This is an extraordinary, small, fantastic place in the middle of nowhere, in one of the most beautiful settings you can imagine. Very personal service, warm, friendly. If you value quiet isolation in a spectacular Icelandic fjord, this is the place for you. Can't wait to go back!
