"Nice little one night stopover visiting Bude. Ample parking and easy to find. Straight road into Bude. A little isolated so make sure you buy supplies from Bude on the way back. A few spiderwebs and bugs in the room when we arrived but only because the window was left open thankfully because it was such a hot day. Paula the host was very helpful and friendly start to finish. Will stay again if we visit Bude again."

An EV charger in the same parking area is very helpful, as well. I was surprised that my single room didn't have a TV. "Stayed for one night en route to a North Devon holiday. The room was excellent, spacious, clean and well laid out. A very comfy bed meant a good night's sleep. Bathroom even had a bath. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and had a very good meal. Breakfast was also excellent with a great choice all freshly cooked. Plenty of easy parking and outdoor space. Definitely worth staying and would do so again."

"The position of the hotel with amazing sea views and beautiful surrounding scenery was very special. Inside the hotel inside was beautiful in an old fashion way but in character for the age of the hotel. The only thing that was a bit strange was the shower and toilet cubicle in the bedroom but again when the hotel was built there would not have been on suite bathrooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful and made you feel very welcome. We had a lovely afternoon tea in the most beautiful surroundings with fantastic views."

"Comfortable bed. Nice room. Espresso machine in room - excellent. Blinds were a bit broken and not blackout. Single glazing which was mostly ok at this time of year but anyone or vehicle who did go past definitely disturbed our sleep. Bath towels were small, not bath sheets. Lovely friendly staff. Good vibe. Chilled. No parking which we didnt realise until we got there. Would be useful to have that flagged before travelling so you can go straight to one of the public car parks."
