Having an early morning flight from Hamburg we decided on try the Radisson Blu Hotel. Traffic into the city can be backed up in the morning and we were staying north of Hamburg prior to our flight. We took a bus from Kiel to the Hamburg airport and walked a short distance to the hotel. It couldn't have been any handier. The Radisson staff was friendly and helpful. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and found it to be good but not outstanding. The rooms were clean and spacious. We only had a short walk to the terminal in the morning. If you are traveling by air from Hamburg I highly recommend the Radisson Blu.

Excellent three night stay - reasonable extra cost of a single room stay. Very near the old town of Lubeck. Even the overnight snow was handled in an efficient manner to allow free access to and from the hotel; a testament to the German way of dealing with extreme weather. The hotel was very clean despite the on-going refurbishment. The only criticism I can make of the rooms is that the bathroom is obviously the next on the list for said refurbishment.

All sighghtseeing places are located within 20 min walking distance from the hotel.

This is an excellent hotel and the staff are great. It is very conveniently located near the main bus and train station. We caught the bus from Hamburg Airport and got delivered across the road from the Hotel. It has two great eating venues, the Pier 16 restaurant downstairs and Deck 8 on level 8, where you can sit and drink and eat and look out over the Fjord. I strongly recommend this Hotel to anyone who is going to visit Kiel.

This hotel is just minutes from the airport. There is a direct bus line into the city very close to the hotel which was very convenient. Beds were great and overall, it was quite perfect for us
