(1,275 reviews) Staff are friendly, room is clean. However, every SINGLE light is on a motion sensor timer that requires you to move close to the front door of the room every 15-20 minutes. So I couldn’t even relax and read in the evening because of this terrible feature. I’m all for power saving. This is ridiculous when you can’t turn them back on from the main area of the room. (594 reviews) The Room was small but it had everything that was required and it was clean. The two reception staff whom i talked with were cautious and polite, the breakfast was good and reception was helpful when i asked about buses. It is a 40min walk from Buchanan Bus Station but quite easy with google maps. The music venue Oran Mor just a five minute walk away also The Botanical Gardens just the same. The night was very stormy but we felt warm and cosy and despite the numerous times the electricity cut out the generators kicked in and we were back on with power with no fuss.
