We traveled to Saugatuck to attend our son's wedding and booked the Porch Swing property for lodging. The home was clean and bright and full of enjoyable amenities. Owner Todd was helpful with both checking into the home along with our departure. We plan on returning to Saugatuck again next year and hope to secure the Porch Swing home for our trip.

Wonderful stay

4 adults and 8 kids stayed over new years. The house is well situated near the highway for easy access to neighboring towns. 4 minute drive to Saugatuck Dunes State Park. Quiet neighborhood. Enough room in the house for us to all be together or retreat to our own spaces.

Wonderful Stay!

We were in Saugatuck for our son's wedding over an extended weekend and the Porch Swing was absolutely fantastic! It is located outside the busyness of Saugatuck, nestled on a quiet country lot but, you're close enough to easily go downtown for shopping and restaurants. The age ranges for the family ranged from 21yrs to 72yrs and we all fit comfortably. The Porch Swing was very clean with fun decor throughout. Todd was amazing to work with. I highly recommend a stay at his place!

Family Long Weekend

Came to town for an event in Holland. Todd’s property is an absolutely perfect location if you want to visit Holland or Saugatuck/Douglas. Todd answered any questions we had and was always willing to help. Home is spacious enough for multiple family's and is incredibly clean. We enjoyed our time at this house and will definitely be back!

We enjoyed everything about the home. There were family ranging from 5 - 68. Plenty of parking even with our Canada family staying in their motorhome. Per Todds approval. Stayed up laughing and talking till at least 1:30 a.m. Friday and Saturday. My teenage Granddaughters loved the hot tub. The kitchen was roomy with plenty of bowls, silverware etc...and 3 women cooking for a potluck at another family's rental. It's a 5 star for sure!! Thank you Todd.

Amazing house, perfect for a group!

We are 3 couples that get together every Labor Day weekend. This was our 3rd visit to this area and this was by far our best rental. The attention to detail was great. Loved all of the bedrooms, the great room, hot tub, kitchen, fire pit and the bikes. The house was very clean and the kitchen. Well stocked . About a 30 minute walk into town and a 15 minute easy bike ride. We would define rent this home again!

I'd recommend this property!

We were happy with the property, the location and the host. We had 10 people (2 grandparents, 2 daughters and their husbands and 4 grandsons. The five bedrooms were perfect for our group. The back yard was fun for games, camping and hot tub. Only one concern: the internet was spotty. That wasn't a problem for us but if someone rented the property and wanted to do some remote work, I think they would have a problem.

Perfect for Us!

We loved our stay in Saugatuck! And we especially loved this house! As a group of six friends from college, this house was perfect for us! The house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. We did do some cooking, and we were able to find everything we needed. The two living areas were great for conversing or watching tv. We enjoyed the enclosed porch too! Todd was quick to respond to questions and was very helpful to us! We also loved the location! It was close to the Dune Rides, the interstate, and not far from downtown. It's located on a quiet street! We would definitely stay here again!

Convenient and spacious for extended family

We stayed here for a family event in Holland. We had ten adults from 18-82. There is space for people to spread out and participate in different activities. The big table is great for board games and puzzles. Easy to have one group at the dining table, others in the living room, a couple of people playing pool, and others watching football in the family room. It was snowy, so we didn't use the hot tub or fire pit. We did enjoy the gas fireplace. The location was only 10 minutes from my dad's house on the south side of Holland.

Family Vacay

Communication with property manager and check-in process was great. Location is a quick 10 minute drive to Saugatuck and unit was a great size for our family group. House was relatively clean but dining table is sticky (probably needs to be refinished), we did find some popcorn on the floor and a water bottle under living room chair. Kitchen was fantastic with adequate silverware, plates, serving bowls and pots/pans for large group but we did need to purchase a couple of serving spoons. Drink fridge was a bonus for extra beverages. Screened in back porch is a perfect venue for morning coffee and family chats but the seat cushions are worn and need replacing. Bedrooms are comfortable with extra blankets, but carpets are worn and need replacing. Basement was extremely damp despite the dehumidifier continuously running. Wi-Fi is good with 5G service and included Bluetooth speakers in the living room. We used the gas grill for three meals but it’s a bit dirty and needs cleaning. Fire pit is nice for evening fires with s’mores. Spacious backyard is great for family games and hot tub was clean and easy to use. Bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths for 12 people. But bring your own beach towels. Five bikes are available in the garage, but all are quite rickety and difficult to ride. There’s also a cooler and some beach chairs. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and recommend this rental property for larger groups who need adequate sleeping quarters and bathrooms.
