Our decision to stay at Captain's Quarters vs any other property came down to several criteria (in order of importance): 1) Cleanliness. Based on past reviews, we were comfortable with what we read and CQ did not disappoint. Excellent. 2) Location vs Price: CQ is not on the main drag of Saugatuk, but was only a 15-minute walk through a nice neighborhood which allowed quick access to the beautiful town but at a much better price point than the properties in town. 3) Locally owned- check. 4) Breakfast. CQ provided multiple options, with yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, English muffins, cold and hot cereals and an assortment of juices. It's not going to blow you away but it is perfect for a quick get and go.
Look, I'm not a motel guy, but this quaint properly fit all of our criteria and I'd stay there again in a heartbeat.
appreciate the experience.
