It was born as a sandstone sediment of a prehistoric ocean some 100 Milion years ago. It was formed by the water, wind, frost, rain and it created numerous rock towers which were in 1933 certified as a nature park reservation. It is situated ca. 100 km northeast from Prague near the town of Jičín. The view is from the valley bellow the viewpoint Vyhlídka Českého ráje (=Bohemian Paradise). If you getting a room for 4 people keep in mind 2 beds are very small. Otherwise we were happy with the stay the only issue we had was with breakfast (buffet style). Served from 8am-9:30am. We stayed 3 days and we noticed same issue everyday, first day we came at 8:50am and most of the food was gone. Person who was in charge refilled some of the food at 9:20am which was after we finished eating. Next two days we came right from the beginning and we were amazed with the choices we had, but noticed that those who came later had a same issue we had previous day. I found it little unfair to those who like to stay in bed bit longer. For the hotel of this class its unacceptable.
