I have stayed here several times over the last 5 years, very reliable, great value for money, helpful staff. I find it to be an excellent location as it is almost 1/2 way between the beach and the old town, both very easy to get to via a short bike ride. I will definitely continue to stay here on my returns to Hoi An

Attentive staff. Decent location. Very affordable. Very helpful and if there is any issue - they quickly aim to solve it/tend to it with the guest's comfort and care as the top priority. Getting the AC setting right, especially for sleeping, was a challenge. That is more about the equipment and our lack of familiarity with it- - not really the hotel. I would definitely stay again and recommend to friends.

Older hotel in need of updating
Clean, nice people, food was good, pool nice but lots of street noise. The mattresses on the beds were very hard and produced back pain for me, my daughter and son-in-law. The linens and pillows were definitely in need of replavement. We moved to a different hotel after 4 days

This was my 3rd time staying here at Sunshine and it has always been great, I love that it is so clean, super friendly and helpful. staff, great location for getting to the beach and the old city

Great place to stay
Fabulous hotel. Very helpful staff. They arranged a Mother's Day cake and flowers for us from our children. Lovely pool. Great breakfast. Near to excellent restaurants. Shuttle into town and free bikes really useful. Highly recommend.

Great clean suite with balcony and city views!
Friendly staff, clean rooms, great value. Walking distance to old town. The also have free bikes to use. Highly recommend.

Awesome location, fantastic staff,food average
This hotel was fantastic, we loved it the staff were extremely helpful. The food was ordinary at best but everything else was perfect, we would definitely stay again. You are in Hoi An so eating at your hotel is not really the best option anyway. Highly recommended.

Deceitful staff
The staff at Sunshine Hotel take advantage of patrons. We saw it with others, and experienced it ourselves. Hotels are supposed to look out for guests. This one went so far as lying to double the cost of our bus ticket (paying the bus company half) so they could profit, as one example. Looking out for vendors trying to take advantage is one thing, but not being able to trust your hotel is very bad.

A really good hotel
Everything was top notch. What i liked the most was the option we had at checkout to take a shower even to have access to the pool. An A+ to the sunshine. If i ever come back to hoi An i will sure book with them again.

Nice hotel in a quiet location
The hotel is situated outside the central tourist area but within walking distance. They provide free bicycles which is a nice way to get around town and to the beach. The free hourly shuttle into the old township is good too. I'd certainly stay again.

I arrived in a beautiful hotel with great staff and super food.I got to my room.A great design.Lovely marble and wood decor that's well finished. I loved it until l got a funny smell. Damp.There was damp along the wall from the base of the bed.I drew attention to it,was eventually given another room and although smaller than the beautiful room l had initially it was still quality.I'd definitely return as I'm sure the problem will be dealt with.

It is worth every penny. Great and nice rooms. The only issue is breakfast. The food tend to be cold specially when the windows are open and the weather is cold.

Hotel Excellent
Hotel was clean as were both the room and bathroom. Staff very friendly however limited English. A la Carte meals very inexpensive and quality of food excellent , chef came out at dinner and asked what we wanted to eat etc personal service was excellent. Only 1 ride to the beach a day could have had more service rides to the beach. Only gave complimentary tea in the room expected coffee etc. On the whole very good hotel and worth a visit. Lovely restaurants nearby and very inexpensive.

Awesome place
The Hotel was so comfortable and clean and although we didn't have great weather, the swimming pool was fantastic! The hotel staff would help with any concerns if asked and the free shuttle and bikes were wonderful when the legs had enough of walking.

Clean, comfortable & enjoyable stay!
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Rooms are quite big and clean although The beds are a little hard. Good location, the hotel offers free bicycle rental for you to get around. Close to markets and river. The restaurant onsite has delicious fair priced meals as well as buffet breakfast. Only bad thing was the hotel was under construction so it was very noisy during our stay.

Great stay out of the hustle and bustle.
The hotel was great. Clean, good breakfast buffet, nice pool, hot showers, large rooms, friendly helpfully staff. Only complaint is they were doing construction and it started around 7:30AM. Waking up to a jackhammer isn't the best way to start a day.

I found this hotel to be very average. At times the staff seemed very lazy (though it was very hot during my stay and it's all open air so perhaps they were just exhausted). The spa was underwhelming an breakfast didn't feel fresh though the pool area was very nice and there is a free shuttle bus to town multiple times a day.

Thought a little distance from town. they had free oickups to town and back. Beach was too but no transport. But it was nice and safe place to stay. Enjoyed our stay.

I really recommend this hotel. By far, within Vietnam it has been the most friendly and accommodating place I have stayed. Lee, Tobias and all the staff members were very helpful when booking tours. They were honest about which companies not to go with and went over the top giving me great recommendations to try yummy street food and restaurants. ( They never pushed the most expensive tours, on the contrary they considered my budget and yet I great tours) For the price, the rooms were big, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good, they offered continental breakfast and Vietnamese food . Location wise, the hotel is near everything. If you like walking like me you won't be disappointed here.

We really enjoyed this hotel. And actually booked another 3 nights their as we were having difficulties getting transport to move south in Vietnam due to Tet. We loved time location of the hotel it was about a 10 min walk to the old town one direction and a 5-10 minute bike ride to the beach. It was great that the hotel provided free bike rentals as well they did also have a free shuttle bus to town a few times a day. Room was big and nice we had upgraded to have the balcony. Really enjoyed being able to open then doors and get light in the room. Breakfast was more Asian style. Which is really hard to complain about when you are in Asia. But they did have an egg station and lots of fresh fruit.

Food not terribly good. Spa not too good. Free bicycles in bad state of repair. A bit far from downtown to walk. Receptionists not friendly: no smile and only minimally helpful. Only one good meal on lunar new year's morning when a new chef appeared and cooked a beautiful meal. After that it was bad.

Good but with some little annoyances...
Very good hotel. Staff were helpful and breakfast was great. The shower was a nightmare to use, as it didn't like to stay at one temperature. It constantly flicked between warm, scalding and freezing. The bedsheets also came off the bed with the slightest movement which was another little annoyance, but other than that the hotel was good!

A nice, clean and relax hotel with great facility
We stay a night in this hotel to check out Hoi An activities in the evening with spectacular beautiful lantern decoration. We found this hotel very nice and very relax. The hotel is only 2, 3 year old. The buffet breakfast is delicious. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. There is 15 minutes walking distance from the hotel to the town. The hotel provides free transportation to town. We like the balcony and the pool facility of the hotel. The room is spacious.

You Get Suhshine At Sunshine Hotel..Kudos
Had given the attic floor room with nice view of the surrounding and get to see the sun rise. Too bad we had stayed only one night and the beach is not far from the hotel. You could take taxi there and the seafood there were at reasonable price and importantly - delicious and fresh. Went for the breakfast but were quite disappointed as some of the food were not replenish and there was not food to eat.

Free push bikes for hire + amazing pool.
This is a wonderful hotel, great price, free push bikes to hire, a good distance between Hoi An Center & the two main beaches. The hotel offers a free shuttle throughout the day to the Center of town with return trips + a shuttle to An Bang beach once daily. I would highly recommend it! Free buffet breakfast which is top quality. The restaurant across the road, TinTin's is also fantastic authentic Vietnamese food.

Great hotel!
We had a fabulous stay. The hotel was great value for the price and included many extras-- free bikes, breakfast and a lovely pool. Staff was wonderful and very accommodating. At one point we had very low water pressure which they fixed within minutes! I also loved the location between central Hoi An and the beach. Would definitely return without hesitation
