Pros: Property was in a quiet, beautiful area with easy car access. Cons: There was no in-unit fan or air cooling system. As a result people open the windows to let in cool air. We did not open the windows when we stayed due to the number of bugs outside, so it was incredibly warm and difficult to sleep comfortably. Despite our best efforts, there were 4-5 spiders in the sleeping area and several flies.

We stayed in the private apartment for three nights. The location is great for exploring the South Coast. We could have easily stayed here longer as there is so much to see and do within an hour or so of drive. The apartment was roomy and well equipped. We had a full kitchen with a little dishwasher. We had beautiful views of the horse farm, and mountains in the distance. There was also a river behind the farm.

We stayed before and after our tour of Iceland. The same descriptors apply to both. Would definitely stay here again!

I wanted to rate this place higher but it was difficult to relax. Construction going on and right by my window there is a port wine bar which I had to call reception and ask them if they can be a bit more quiet. At times it was past 11 pm and people were still out there smoking and drinking and speaking loudly . It was a bit uncomfortable also to keep my window open . I think it was a quiet time they could’ve placed me somewhere else after the 1st time I called but they didn’t offer it . They didn’t give enough toilet paper , when I asked they told me they would bring it and never did .i went out and bought some .

Staff was the best. Went out of their way in every way. Location is perfect. It is a bit noisy but that is only because it is located in a bustling area, replete with bars and restaurants. Close to the harbor and everything downtown. It is truly a best kept hotel secret in this marvelous city.
