"We had a one night stay at Safari Moon and we are so glad we did! This is such a warm, lovely boutique lodge with the kindest staff and clean beautiful rooms. We had a couples massage and it was fantastic! As a type 1 Diabetic, they absolutely tweaked the menu to accommodate my needs and it was terrific! This is a very special place and if we ever find ourselves any where near Hoedspruit, do not hesitate to stay at Safari Moon...you won't regret it!"

This time we booked for 3 nights and it was absolutely wonderful. The people, the safari, the animals, the food, the lodges are just perfect. Mohlabetsi will always hold a very special place in all my family's hearts and will definitely go back again one day. I recommend this lodge to anyone!

We arrived in the early evening to find a welcome fire/bbq already lit...such a kind gesture! Annie was on-hand to give details of road closures, shopping advice; general comfort chats. The surrounding garden was a delight for bird-lovers; attention to detail in the accommodation perfect combination of lowkey and luxury.

The Blyde River Canyon Lodge is great. While not exactly a safari lodge as such (it’s not in a true wildlife park) the architectural style is very ‘safari chic’ using a lot of local natural materials and thatched roofing. It is very close to the ‘Panorama Route Drive’ and the spectacular Blyde...
