Lovely hosts, very attentive to making sure we were being looked after and had what we needed. Rooms were clean and comfortable beds. Kept us well watered. Great choices on breakfast, loved all the fresh fruit. Bedroom doors were good on sound proofing. Helped us with visiting the Primate Rescue centre to see the gibbons and of course An Trang river/caves. Pool was great to cool off late in day with the heatwave weather (36 celcius degree days). Location was convenient, close to main street but just a minute's walk would have you looking at rice paddies and Karst hills. The mint cafe a few doors down did great salted coffees and meals. Would definitely be our top choice of accomodation if we are lucky to visit Tam Coc again.

Overall the place is great--the one exception is the mold and cleaning in the bathroom. There was a water leak by the toilet but I did not alert management since I did not want the interruption, but they have to know. I also took a small toothbrush to see if the mold is embedded or could be removed, and much of it was removed by the toothbrush with little pressure. The room was good, the breakfast and pool were great, and the family was generous and kind. I would still book again, but probably required the shower to be cleaned before unpacking. Thank you.

This was an excellent homestay! The family were very friendly and helpful, and the rooms large and comfortable. The location was great, close to everything in Tam Coc. I wish I could have stayed longer.

Great location! Awesome breakfast, and they provide free bicycles to explore the area. They also provide scooters to rent, which was a highlight of our trip.

Excellent location, near the enter, we were able to book a tour , rent e-bikes since they have there own travel agency, they offered us to do our laundry which was quite convenient…. This is a family runned business👍

Great property. Close to everything including boat ride on lake, coffee shop, laundry, restaurants, souvenir shops, and a 50 minute walk to Mua. Breakfast has several options and freshly made. The homestay rents scooter and bicycles. To rent a gas scooter you must have international license. The electric bikes and scooters are very nice. Quiet area and the bed and showers are great. Also a swimming pool. The owners are super nice people. Can book any trip you want including transportation to Hanoi Airport. I highly recommend this homestay. You wont be disappointed. TV does have Netflix and YouTube but no local TV. Each room as has its own modem.

This was an incredibly welcoming place to stay. They organized a jeep tour for us which was fabulous and included a boat trip in Trang An. The pool was a God send given the 36 degree heat. We had an early departure for Ha Long Bay, and they provided us a packed breakfast for the trip. Such a caring and friendly place to stay.

Lovely little homestay with inviting pool ran by a lovely family. At breakfast you were given a fruit plate while they freshly cooked your order from the menu.They did my laundry, really good price, booked trips and return trip to Hanoi and provided water and snacks for journey. There are lots of bikes and mopeds to hire if needed. I would definitely recommend this Homestay if you're in Tam Coc.

Had the best 2-days stay at LYS Homestay. Rented bikes and drove around the rice fields which is really close by. All of the LYS-family were really friendly and helpfull. Our room fitted our family perfectly. Would definitely be back again.

Great Homestay Excellent location

We had a wonderful stay at Lys Homestay. The staff were friendly and efficient the massage was great and only 200d. Breakfast was great and location was fantastic. We walked everywhere and had a lovely time. We will be back in summer so we can enjoy that beautiful pool.

We had a great time at Lys Homestay. The staff are welcoming and kind. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We were able to rent a moped from them, which was very convenient. The location is walking distance to many restaurants and shops. We would love to stay again!

We had a wonderful welcome and they will do anything to help you. They arranged transport for us and we hired their mopeds with great suggestions on where to go. The price is fabulous value and includes breakfast- you really can’t go wrong

Loved Ly’s Homestay. A friendly/family welcome on arrival with a nice cold homemade mango juice and a platter of cold fruit. Location is perfect. Accommodation perfect. All the family very helpful and wanting your stay to be memorable. They offer bike rental, tour bookings, money exchange and whatever you need they will help. It is lovely and quiet and did I mention a great location. So many eatery options, karaoke clubs and bars with nightlife available within walking distance. The awesome clean pool was a perfect refreshing bonus and breakfast to order was superb. We only stayed for 3 nights but wished it was more. There is so much to see and do in Tam Coc / Ninh Binh, that a longer stay would have been great. It was a very memorable goodbye, where the whole family came to see us off. Kisses, handshakes and hugs galore. Even offered bottled water and fruit to see us on our way. We felt blessed!

We had a lovely stay at Lys while exploring Tam Coc and the surrounding area. Ly and her family were so welcoming and helpful! The room was clean and spacious. The location was quiet, but you won’t miss out as it’s only a short walk to all of the restaurants and bars (also recommend Family Restaurant for food). Would stay again if we go back to Tam Coc :)
