I had ordered the room with a free mini bar - but when I got there looking for the mini bar - they said that was the 2 bottles of water on the table in the room! Hotels.com said they follow the policy of the hotels and was not able to do anything about it. The reason is not because of the facility but for it's location and convenience. Also, I already know the quality of the stay so do not want to risk for another place that could be a trap. Room condition is different from the pictures displayed on the website. Design and setting is the same, just that the actual furniture is about 10-15 years older than pictures, but everything showing on the pictures are there. Check-in is just a little desk at the lobby. Services are great, the cleaning lady is really friendly and accommodating, and did a thorough job. The guy at the check-in desk is also a nice person, a bit shy but always smiling. Price is great, but so are so many other local hotels. I don't mind staying there again for my solo trip if I go back to Ho Chi Minh City again, even though everything in the room is a bit old and the hotel could use some renovation.
