Vor dem Hotel ist es fast ein Ding der Unmöglichkeit, die Strasse zu überqueren. Wenn es regnet, können sie das Hozelareal nicht verlassen, weil dann einfach kein Taxi verfügbar ist. Die Sehenswürfigkeiten sind jedoch einr halbe Autostunde entfernt. Gute Speiselokale fand ich zu Fuss keine, ausser sie lieben es auf äusserst kleinen Kinderstühlen, fast auf dem Boden zu sitzen. Im einzigen Restaurant sind auf der dürftigen Menueliste jeweils die Hälte des Angebots, gerade nicht erhältlich. Nie (wirklich nie) konnte ich bestellen, was auf der Menuekarte angeboten wurde. Zweimal hatten sie nicht einmal Reis. Auf den angebotenen Reisen, in den Reisebüros im Zentrum der Stadt, ist das Angebot auf chinesische Touristen getrimmt. Da fährt man in verschiedensten Vehikeln durch die Gegend. Bei jedem Stopp werdem einen Produkte unter die Nase gehalten. Z.B. wollen sie Honig verkaufen. Honig, der von den Bienen nur für die Königin gemacht wurde. Königinnen leben ja 10 mal länger als die Arbeitsbienen...das soll dann auch für die Menschen gelten, wenn sie ihn einnehmen. An einem Halt im Mekong wurde Fisch getrocknet. Dort stank es derart fürchterlich, bretflächig, (Man konnte sich nicht mit 100 Schritten an frischere Luft begeben) dass sich meine Partnerin übergeben musste. Die Mekongtour z.B. war eine reine Werbetour. This is our 3rd stay here. We could not book last year, we sent a message to them but no reply. So I confused should stay here this time. We checked many place to stay. But this villa is the best for us, so decided to stay. Our stay was great! Got wonderful room, friendly polite staff, good security, yummy breskfast, not clouded swimming pool with sun. I highly recommend to stay here if 20 minutes to central by bus is no problem. Only 1 thing I have to say......inside of gate, there are many cats. If you don't like cats, feel no good...... This is not hotel like central, best choice for relax. Good pool. Superstor og dyb pool, med lille børne/ baby hjørne. Behagelig kølig trods varmt vejr. Ligger som en oase midt i larmende Saigon, men i område uden andre turister. Gadekøkkener nærmest lige uden for døren. Supermarked Big C findes på den store vej, hvis I går til højre. Centrum med taxa koster mellem 70.000-110.000 VDong. Tager ca 20-45 min. afhængig af trafikken. Nearby street is quite crowdy so taxi is needed when you want to look Saigon. Taxies are anyway very cheap and easy to get. The pool was full off alger and the kids white swim shorts turned yellow. Most of the staff where uninterested in having guests at all. Hardly any spoke any English. We tried the restaurant twice. Unfortunately the food quality mirrored the rest of the place. The appartments are far from the city centre. With the traffic jams in Saigon it takes up to 30 minutes to get to the city. There are no restaurants nearby. I sent some email to them before I stay. And got quickly and kindness reply always. After we arrival, all staff were friendly and helpful. The room.....excellent!!!! Hudge living room, nice kitchen with kitchen wear, big walk in wardrobe space. Wifi condition also nice in the room. Location is local area, but easy to get local bus to city. Even had to back by Taxi, the fee will be 4-5 USD only. Easy to back to silence area. Only restaurant price is over price, I think. And they must be have 2 kind of price menu. Is it depend on nationality???? Both of menu were still new...... Taste was nice. Breakfast also nice, Asian or western ....you can choice. There is nice pho restaurant near the gate. I recommend it. Anyway already we are thinking next stay, mmm maybe we can back there New Years period. Thank you so much Saigon village!!!! I usually opt to stay in District 1, but I wanted to give Saigon Village a try given its fair prices and generally positive reviews. I booked a single bedroom suite for 4 nights and a 2 bedroom upgrade for an additional but separate 2 nights. For my party of 4, there was plenty of space. Though the accommodations were a bit dated, everything was in working order including the washing machine and microwave. The kitchen was fully equipped and our fridge was initially stacked with plenty of water. The beds were comfortable and the complimentary Wi-Fi worked extremely well. Even though the free breakfasts were limited in options, they were decent. The outdoor pool and external grounds, in my opinions, were well kept and serviced daily. By HCM standards, the hotel location is remote facing the large U. of Tech campus. Its spacious gated design and continuous security presence maintain it as an ideal oasis in a sea of hectic activities. In addition, the staff was very helpful and their on duty managers spoke fluent English. The apartment was very big and allowed us to chill. A bit dated but clean. Restaurant was limited but food was good. Breakfast was again limited but had enough choice to keep us happy.overall, pretty good value.
