"It was clean, nicely feeling accommodation in a retro style. The retro does NOT mean old and worn out, but more like the feeling of staying in a small local museum. The rooms are the biggest I stayed in during my two-week road trip in Iceland. Location is best - first line facing ocean / harbor. The only thing I liked less where showers. They where ok, but I would do there some renovations to match the entire guesthouse level."

"The check in process was a little bit strange, but we managed to gain access and find our room. At first we thought there was no private bathroom as it was hidden behind a panel that looked like part of the wall. The shared kitchen had all the amenities and worked well. Room was clean and beds were comfy."

"The hotel was basic, which was fine. The stairs up to the rooms were challenging. We never say any employee until the morning during breakfast time and then the interaction was minimal, sort of like we were there alone. The town, it is a cruise port, is not much to speak of, but the surroundings were amazing."

"Dis Cottages were great for our stay! The views of the mountains and ocean were phenomenal and the area was peaceful and relaxing. The cottage was clean, check in and out was very easy and we would love to return if we are back in the area. This was one of out favorites places that we stayed at during out time in Iceland."
