"For the 1st time in 20 years I found a hotel I would actually come back to if I came back through here. Which we may on our way back from our road trip. The front counter ladies in the morning and evening where so nice. The place inside and out is absolutely stunning. Haha maybe its the beautiful colors of yellow. My favorite. So bright and cheery. The beds were super comfortable, many channels to choose from on the TV, a nice desk to sit at if you need to, and plenty of outlets everywhere. The wifi was insanely easy to connect to. The restroom was was huge for us choosing the cheapest room available at 1am since we where just driving through."

Pine Grove Cottage - Romantic Getaway on Private Lake

"Beautiful and peaceful escape on acres with no one else around. A friend and I did a mother daughter trip with our two girls who’ve been friends since infancy and are both heading off to separate colleges. This was a perfect getaway for them and for us! The cottage is charming and was very clean. We loved the sunroom and its view of the pond. The fresh eggs and blackberry jam provided for us in the fridge were a lovely surprise and we enjoyed them so much! The girls enjoyed taking the boat out for a quiet paddle around while we moms sat in the chairs and relaxed. The chickens and turkeys at the front of the property were a fun addition! Downtown Pittsburg is cute and charming, and we really enjoyed Lala Pops (ice cream and coffee). We also stumbled upon Factory Connection where we found so many brand name college clothes for our girls at bargain prices! Lake Bob Sandlin was a 20 minute drive away and we had a fun outing there at Big Al’s. Lovely property and getaway - we highly recommend it!"

"I hesitate to say great things because I don't want everyone to find out about this little gem! Everything was exactly as described and when you read "on the lake" it literally means less than 10 steps away! We couldn't have had a nicer time sitting on the porch, fishing off the dock and exploring all the amenities this neighborhood has. This place is perfect for a family trip, a girl's weekend or a guy's golf weekend. We will most definitely be back! Thank you, Dennis!"
