We didn’t use the laundry, but it was wonderful for the folks that did. They could easily wait in the lounge in their kataka (summer casual kimono-style spa wear) that The Blossom provided fresh and pressed each day of our stay. This was a boon! It was like having a spa membership as part of our hotel package. The room was also bigger than expected, very clean, quiet and one of the best I have stayed in even in the states. Area is safe, neighborhood feel, but necessities were close-by as well. We will definitely be coming back to this hotel when we return to Kyoto and only stay here when back in Japan. A lot to discover in this beautiful place Kyoto."
