"My wife and I had such a wonderful four nights staying here at the end of June 2026! Very clean and comfortable with so many little conveniences. Very glad we checked out what was already provided before doing our groceries (at the super close supermarket).
Gordon was very easy to communicate with and helpful in every regard. A great host.
We were in the area to hike some of the nearby East Coast Trail segments: Beach, Tinker's Point, Spout, Mickeleen. We saw many, many whales from those paths! In retrospect, we should have made this a even longer part of our two weeks in Newfoundland."
Stunning Lakeside Retreat in Tors Cove – Nature Lover’s Paradise!
10/10 Excellent
"We loved the view at this cottage. It had everything we needed and more. Great location. We especially liked all the paintings done by the owner. We would definitely recommend this cottage to other friends and family."
"The location of the property is great for retreat. There is a shortcoming thing though, you have to make reservations in order to enjoy dinner, no walking in dine.."
"The cabin was perfect for the two of us. The layout was such that we did not feel cramped at all. It was very well stocked, so there was nothing we needed that we did not find, even bandaids. The location was great, the area was so peaceful and quiet and the bed was very comfortable. We also really appreciated having access to a washing machine, and the clothes line. We had noticed in a previous review that there were no clothes pins so we had brought some, but we were pleased to see that there were some. Nice to see that the owner pays attention to comments. All communications were prompt and clear. Gerald was a pleasure to deal with and we would definitely return and recommend this very sweet and cozy cabin."
"Excellent stay with Paula & Pablo! The room was clean, breakfast was delicious and we even saw whales from our bedroom window! Would highly recommend their dinner option as well!"
"Absolutely a perfect cabin to start our Newfoundland trip . Everything was exactly what we expected, stunning views of the Newfoundland landscape. Linda was so pleasant to deal with , fantastic place "
"Comfortable, well located for hiking, beautiful views of the harbour and A gorgeous pebble beach across the road. Loved this place for a trip with my 22 year old son. Rented a car for an easy 20 minute drive to St. John’s. Place was clean, welcoming and communication with host easy and quick. Hope to visit again!"
