However, I would caution that it is not for everyone. I am reasonably fit, but carrying my suitcase up 4 flights of stairs, in a narrow, winding staircase was a bit of a challenge. The place is older and could do with a refresh, but clean and well maintained. It is a stones throw from the Hiroshima tram system (Honkawacho station). Also very close to Atomic Bomb Dome and Peace Memorial Park. A proper grocery store is within easy walking distance (Yours). I didn't have any issues with fruit flies (mentioned in another review), but this probably reflects the time of year. Clean, tidy and everything you would need for a family or couple who wanted self catering - wonderful. Short walk to Peace Park and all else that you would need, shops, restaurant and transport (tram is very close so that getting to Hiroshima Station is quite easy). Quiet and peaceful.
