It was in a super convenient spot, close to the station and walking distance from historical sites, parks and restaurants. Staff were polite, friendly and were able to speak some English when my Japanese wasn’t good enough. The only thing I would suggest would be a bigger pillow. And maybe an extra one too. It’s possible that one was available but I didn’t ask. The room was comfortable with the right amount of space, bathroom was really nice, great amenities. Although there is no on site parking there is a cheap pay lot just behind the building making it convenient and it is also near the station! It is just over the river from the South Entrance of the Station with easy access to Buses, Trams, Trains and Shinkansen. The desk staff were very helpful this year as well as last year when I stayed there helping me fill out forms for luggage forwarding. In the attached Café there is a good selection of Breakfast options. Rooms are clean and all the usual things you need are provided. The room was very clean and comfortable for the duration. The city itself was beautiful and the people I spoke to were very friendly and welcoming. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to go to Hiroshima, it's location is extremely convenient as it is just a 3-5 minute walk to Hiroshima Station. The price was also fair. Although the room was clean, there was an horrible smell of mold in the room, likely coming from the bathroom. It was impossible to get rid of it. It smelled so strong it caught in your throat.
