You can also take the nearby streetcar farther afield including Downtown Hiroshima (make sure you swipe your IC card when you get on and then again when you get off). Hotel staff speak English and are incredibly nice. Make sure you find a restaurant that offers the local delicacy called Okonomiyaki. In a good neighborhood and has a great lil bakery around the corner. Staff go out of their way to help. Rooms are small but functional and clean. Massive TV with Netflix option which makes it awesome given there’s only Japanese channels on TV. Ice machine, filtered hot and cold water, rice cooked and microwave on site. They also have a restaurant and bar which I didn’t use. The staff were also very friendly.
