Welcome to your home away from home! This custom built spec home features the latest appliances, technology and lighting for your comfort and leisure. This property is located 20 minutes from Jasper National Park Gate, and 40 minutes to downtown Jasper. You will want to a lot for more drive time for yourself as the drive between Hinton AB and Jasper AB is one of the most beautiful drives in Canada, as seen on YouTube.
There is a private, fully legal basement suite with a separate entrance below your unit. You are renting the private upstairs/main floor of this home in its entirety which is complete with its own outdoor parking, garage parking, furnace/heating, back deck complete with furniture and full use BBQ propane grill, and a full size private back yard.
The space:
The house is split into 2 fully legal rental units. The sound -proofed basement apartment is entirely independent with it's own private entrance, entrance path (right side of the house, privately gated and clearly marked) separate water tank, electric panel, 1 driveway parking stall and separate furnaces/thermostats. You will absolutely fall in love with the custom design.
You will have the upper half of the house which has 2 driveway parking stalls, 1 heated garage parking stall, front door entrance (front door of the house, clearly marked) , private patio and back yard. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs which has an entirely independent furnace/thermostat, electrical panel, sound-proofed floors, and the latest technology in lighting and appliances.
Guests are limited to 6 total regardless of age to remain respectful and limit noise to the basement guests. There is sound proofing in the walls but just as in any multi-dwelling home, your respect and adherence in keeping noise levels to a minimum is required to provide everyone with a comfortable stay.
Please note that there is no centralized air conditioning. There is centralized venting bringing in cool air from the outside, an air conditioning unit in the master bedroom, and fans provided in each room for your comfort.
Guest access:
You will have private access to 2 driveway parking stalls (left hand side of the driveway as the right hand side is for basement tenants) complete with an electric outlet as well as 1 large heated garage parking stall. The patio seating area, bbq, and backyard are private along with the entire top floor of the house.
Basement guests have their own side private entrance and bbq.
Other things to note:
Please be sure to turn on the above stove ventilation fan on EVERY use to prevent the smoke detector from a false trigger.
Quiet time is strictly adhered to at 10 PM as the majority of our guests are early risers ready to seize the picturesque day ahead
No hot surfaces directly on quartz countertops or furniture please.
There are no SkipTheDishes drivers however, there are several restaurants that offer delivery for your usuals including my favourite, Rojo Marron Mexican restaurant, pizza, and Chinese food.
