"Peter was a great host and offered us support in terms of local activities. He is also a renowned chef and we took the opportunity for him to prepare us a 3 course dinner which was exceptional. The accommodation fitted our needs perfectly and was only a short walk from a really nice beach. It was only a short drive from Hobart CBD. There is not a lot of shops etc near the accommodation so a car is needed. Breakfast was provided also and it was varied. Would recommend this accommodation to anybody visiting Tasmania. "Excellent views of the beach and plenty to watch as we slowed our pace for a bit of a relax before we headed home. We booked last minute and felt lucky to get this place. As the seafood festival was on in Hobart for the weekend. Easy bus ride into the city. Plenty of places to eat and drink. Kitchen was well stocked with everything ( except a dishwasher) but that is easily overcome. Mark got in touch to make sure we were settled in I thought that was a nice touch. "

"Location of the property was really nice. It had great views. Was a shame the hot tub was not in use and looked to have been out of action for a while. The pool was also filled with leaves so unsure if the auto cleaner was running correctly. The property could do with some repairs to refresh it, as well as some areas cleaned better such as the freezer as this was very dirty. Overall was a good stay and easy check in process but just needs some TLC. "

"We had a lovely stay , it was comfortable and easy to find , the host communicated very well , we found the key in the lock box and instructions were easy to follow . It was well located and great cafe at the end of the road . It needs more coat hangers , needs hanging space and hooks for towels , the remote controls need new batteries , I would have liked tissues supplied and perhaps a larger variety of tea . If you are a light sleeper I suggest ear plugs , as you can hear everything movement from the accommodation above . "

"The host responded quickly with polite chat. The pool was dirty and never reached the upper water level. The pool was dirty and we did not want to use it. We booked this place with the amenity of a working pool and the pool was not working. This was upsetting as we expected to use a pool as it was listed as an amenity. This property is a rental property with not any personal touches and place was dirty and dusty. The home only had a cursery quick cleaning, but needed a deeper clean. I would not recommmend this place.I would ask that the pool be removed from the listing.Most importantly, the place was quite dusty, all blinds were dusty, dust on all surfaces, closets dusty needed to be wiped out, sofa was smelly like a dog slept on it, and not enough laundry soap. We had to purchase laundry soap. There were previous reviews that stated the pool was not working and the place was dusty, these previous reviews were absolutely accurate. I mentioned the previous reviews to the listing management at booking time and specifically requested a thorough cleaning and the pool be in working order. This was not the case, and disappointing for our stay, and we felt we overpaid."
