There's a nice amount of floor space, much more than other hotels in the area and even more than the hotel's photos suggest; you can literally use the area at the foot of the bed to stash purchases or suitcases, make a play area, etc. For both visits, I've managed to get rooms facing the train station, and the sunrises have been gorgeous. You don't need to face Daisen directly, the hills and far-off mountains are a dramatic frame. Before you decide on lodgings for yourself or your little family, see if a few extra dollars per night are in your budget for this property.
