The staff is so polite and so very helpful! They made sure the Takyubin would take our luggage to Kyoto on time for the next day, was so helpful to us! They were great! It's a shame the room and bathroom are so small, but it's a Japanese hotel, so that's how it is in this kind of hotel. So room was ready. We stayed at 7 different hotels on our trip and Apa was the only one asking for payment for earlier check in even if room was ready. Otherwise hotel was good, clean, room was on the small size (on the photos looks bigger). Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Shower space was odd and water couldn’t be contained in the shower so floor was fairly wet. We were able to watch a movie in English which was a welcoming respite after being on the road for 12 days.
