First floor condo, fully renovated The Spa on Port Royal sound is a gated resort, located in the "heel" of this beautiful, foot-shaped island. It is found at the end of Beach City Road, in a quiet, secluded, natural setting but very close to anything you need. This first floor condo has been newly renovated throughout. There is a well-stocked kitchen with new appliances and new bathrooms, both with tubs and showers. Both the master bedroom & guest bedrooms have comfortable beds. The living room and bedrooms have wall-mounted flat-screen TVs and there is a DVD player in the living room. The condos have Wi-Fi. We provide high quality towels and linens including beach towels. Everything you need is here including soaps, detergents for dishes, dishwasher and laundry, paper towels, and toilet paper. Should there be a day with rain, you can also enjoy family board games, or choose a book from our "mini" library ( take a book to keep and/or leave a book!) There is a fully remodeled inside pool in the middle of our complex as well as a hot tub and sauna & fitness room with new equipment. The dining area can seat 6 people with 2 extra wooden folding chairs in guest room closet. The lanai is a cozy, new & comfortable space to relax, with new opening windows with screens. The Spa has 2 outdoor pools, (one near the beach,) as well as the heated indoor pool, all with bathrooms and Wi-Fi. The complex has many charcoal grills and picnic tables scattered throughout the grounds and 3 tennis courts as well as a basketball court and small playground. It's a 3-4 minute stroll to the private, natural beach, or you can drive & park if you have a lot to carry. At the beach there is a pier, with seating. It's a fun place to explore, fish from shore or go clamming. Hilton Head Island completed a sand renourishment program in June 2016, which happens every 10 years. If you want to spend a day on a traditional public beach with lifeguards, there are 3 or 4 located close by within a 5 minute drive. The condo had everything we needed, and we loved exploring the natural beach. Looking back at past reviews, I can’t believe people complained about the airplanes and feral cats. The location is as advertised and Hilton Head is an awesome place for a family vacation with so much to do. Owners provided a lot of good information about the island to maximize our time on the island. Directions to enter the condo were clear and the home was clean and beautifully decorated. The property is quiet and filled with tons to do. My boys enjoyed having a basketball court so close and we went to every pool on the property. The private beach was cool to check out and other beaches are just a short drive so it was close to everything we needed. The owners have so much that they provide as well! Being able to cook, store food and not have to worry about bringing everything from home for the beach and pool was a huge convenience! We will be back. ##### Emilee C. The furnishings, mattresses , kitchen supplies were what you would have in your own home. Close to the beach with everything you needed. Communication with Chris far exceeded our expectations. He was always 2 steps ahead. We would most definitely recommend this property and will stay there if we return to Hilton Head. ##### Susan H. This place was very nice and quaint a lot of mermaids everywhere and very intricately decorated. My husband lost his wallet right around the corner and when we told the security they weren't very helpful. Hopefully maybe it will be found somewhere it had $500 cash and his bank card and license. They thought of every need we could possibly have. There was plenty of space and it was in a safe area. Everything on the island was close and only a short drive. The pool in the complex was huge and had plenty of chairs. Our only complaint was that the condo was on the side of the sound (intracoastal waterway) and not the Atlantic Ocean. However, the ocean was a short drive and there were public beach accesses that you could park at and walk to the beach. Overall truly enjoyed staying at this condo. ##### Victoria H. Everything was as described. We've stayed in a lot of vacation rentals over the last 25 years and this was by far the best stocked property we've been to. The kitchen had everything we needed and more! They provided beach towels, chairs, a wagon, etc. The beach adjacent to the property was lovely, but the teens wanted a more traditional beach so we drove just a few minutes away to Burkes Beach where there is plenty of parking. We accidentally broke one of the beach chairs and I picked up a replacement and let Chris and Eileen know. They insisted on reimbursing us for it. We will definitely consider staying here again the next time we want to visit Hilton Head Island. ##### Mark W. It was at the back of the resort and I thought it was one of the closer condos so it was a treck to get my 3 year old and all the beach stuff to the beach. It wasn’t too far of a walk but farther than I thought it would be. The beach was nice once we walked a little farther down the beach to not get as many shells in the water and cut our feet. Luckily I had some swimming shoes for my daughter so I didn’t have to worry about her getting cut. We were disappointed that the larger of the two outdoor pools was closed all week but the smaller pool was nice and the water was cool and refreshing after an afternoon at the beach. The owners where very responsive when I had a question or problem. I got a phone call within a few minutes each time I needed something. Overall we had a nice relaxing girls week at the beach. My sister, daughter and I enjoyed our stay, for the most part. ##### Bethany B.
