From the moment you enter this fantastic home, you will be treated to what you would want in an amazing vacation property only a 10 minute walk to the Palmetto Dunes beach. As you enter the front door, to the left there is a POOL TABLE which is ideal for friendly (or serious) competition! The adjacent living room is perfect for sharing the day’s adventures and is equipped with a large LCD HD TV with Cable and Roku (all the other TVs are equipped with Roku), and a DVD player. Use the amplifier by the tv to play the radio or to stream your own music thru a Bluetooth receiver and send your sounds to the living room, kitchen, primary bedroom, primary bathroom, and/or the pool deck area, each with its own volume control. In the cabinet under the TV, you’ll find a number of games to feed that family competitive spirit. Beyond the living room, two large French doors open to a sunken fully screened- in porch (think “no bugs”) with table seating for six with sweeping pool and lagoon views. The kitchen was made with your inner-chef in mind with custom cabinetry, granite countertops, and stainless-steel appliances. In addition, there is a breakfast nook with seating for six as well as bar seating for four at the center island. Adjacent to the kitchen is the dining room with comfortable seating for eight, a great view of the lagoon, and yet another LCD TV (hidden in a cabinet when not needed). The first bedroom is very spacious with a king-sized bed, LCD TV, comfortable seating area to lounge or read a book, and for those who must work while away (argh), the room has a desk, monitor, and wireless printer with a view over the pool to the lagoon. The en-suite bathroom has a large granite double vanity, walk-in tiled shower, a separate large tub, and an oversized closet. The second bedroom is on the same side as the first bedroom and features a king-sized bed, LCD TV and en-suite bathroom. The third bedroom is on the opposite side of the home and has a queen-sized bed, LCD TV and also an in-suite bathroom. The third very large guest bedroom contains a queen-sized bed as well as two sets of twin-sized bunk beds, LCD TV, a sleeper, and as with all the bedrooms, an in-suite bathroom - a complete family enclave! The two Adirondack chairs on the private dock are a great place to wind down at the end of a day with a beverage in hand and watch the egrets, storks, and ibis’! Even the turtles will swim to the dock to greet you. This home has to be experienced to be believed. A mix of fun, view, functionality, and elegance in a truly wonderful way! We love to see the different birds, also saw little alligator, we named Hector! We love to ride bikes around Palmetto Dunes. Great to have the screened porch. Many visits to Cocos beach bar ! Just a note the water pressure in the master is none, if you wanted to use the jet tub, it would take hours to fill and the shower has no pressure. We were not happy with the hot tub , we did not heat it since it was August and hot out. If you do not heat the hot tub, it is just like a pool. They want over $500.00 to heat and extra $150.00 if they could get it done that week with short notice, we chose not to pay $700.00 to heat on the Sunday we were there. Other houses on the same street are only charging $300.00 to heat the hot tub. This is a problem. Maybe its a COVID thing but would have been nice to have some basic staples (salt, pepper, ketchup, honey, etc.) as well as a little more paper towels, toilet paper, etc. This was perfect for us in so many ways, 6 adults/plenty of room and privacy. Reviewer Comments: Firstly, the inside of this home was stunning and so incredibly spacious. Dining room and kitchen were the biggest we've ever seen and we've stayed at over 4 different homes over the years. Primary bedroom was also beautiful. Pool table was a nice bonus. Pool size is not as small as it looks in the picture. The deck was definitely too small. Renting from Palmetto Dunes is very easy and they are very responsive but the property had issues: 1) The light in the primary bath wasn't working - they fixed it the next day. 2) Icemaker wouldn't dispense ice from the door - they couldn't fix it. 3) Spa at the pool wasn't working - they fixed the bubbles but the heat still wasn't fixed after 4 days. They refunded the spa heat fee. These were generally minor except the spa heat which was really disappointing. The kitchen was not very well equipped for cooking - pot/pan sizes were missing - but it was fine. Overall the experience was mid even though the inside of the property was ridiculously pretty. All showers drained very slowly to the point of pooling - because there was inadequate amount of laundry and dishwasher detergent and because the propane tank to the Weber Grill was empty, I had to purchase the supplies myself.– There was Mud and dirt smeared on the outside wooden portion of The sunroom doors. It looked as though they were not even cleaned.Most of the concerns are housekeeping issues or maintenance related. I know that the owners take great pride in their property and would want this brought to their attention.Despite these minor inconveniences, this is a fantastic house and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was excellent. Issues were: distance from beach and amenities, broken dishwasher, unable to use the garage to store bikes and access trash cans, having only one parking pass. The house was laid out perfectly and the decor was spot on for a beach vacation home. Roku made it so easy to put on shows at night. The beach was a 15 min walk or 5 min bike ride. I wish we could have used the pool more but coming out in May the water was still pretty chilly. We had never been to Hilton Head before and this exceeded our expectations. Only cons were we were not able to keep our sandy beach items in a garage and the back door to the screened in porch was really difficult to keep shut. Obviously this did not impact our stay or sway us from a 5 star review in any way! Thank you for letting us stay in your home! ##### Thomas P. The house was beautiful and well taken care of. The only problem we had was with the electricity. I’m not thinking the house is wired properly. If you ran the jets in the bathtub, the washer or dryer, microwave, etc..... the light would all flicker and dim.
