The unit has easy access to the beach are that is not crowded. It was nice to take bike rides down the side street behind the unit. We saw alligators while in Sea Pines and starfish on the beach. There is a little bit longer walk to the beach than we would have liked. With no bathrooms close by on the beach, plan to walk a bunch throughout the day to use the restroom. It wasn’t a deal breaker but something to mention. We loved being on the golf course and taking advantage of the putting green and watching golfers on the back patio. We were a little upset to find out that the South beach pool was closed for the season, but with the beach proximity that ended up not being an issue. There was construction going on in the unit next door so a few mornings we did awake to drills and hammers, but they usually didn't start until 9am. I do think if you have small children that may not be ideal. Nonetheless, we would definitely stay here again. ##### Alyssa C.
