It is in walking distance (minutes) to the beach. The apartment is close to restaurants and grocery stores. I liked that you have a bike trail right outside for biking around the island. The unit is a perfect size with a full kitchen. There is also a hose right outside the door so perfect for cleaning up after the beach without bringing the beach inside.
