The Space:

The scent of salt air drifts in from just three minutes away, where the white sand of South Forest Beach meets the Atlantic. Here at 6 Bayberry Lane, palm trees and live oaks shade a private pool and spa, and every part of the day - morning coffee, midday swims, evening stargazing - has a place to happen.



This beach bungalow spans more than 1,800 square feet and sits third row from the ocean, giving you easy access to the water without sacrificing a quiet, tucked-away feel. Up to 11 guests can spread out across four bedrooms and three bathrooms, making it a natural fit for multi-family trips or larger groups who want room to gather and room to retreat.



Sleeping arrangements

The first bedroom holds a king bed, as does the second, giving two groups their own private retreat. The third bedroom is furnished with two twin beds, well suited to kids or friends sharing a room. The fourth offers a twin over full bunk with a trundle, adding flexible sleeping space for younger guests or extra members of the party.



Living space

Inside, the living room, dining area, and kitchen flow together into one open gathering space before leading out to the pool area. Whether you're cooking a big breakfast before a beach day or unwinding with a movie night after, the layout keeps everyone connected. A dedicated workspace and reliable wifi mean remote work or schooling can fit comfortably into the trip.



Kitchen & dining

The kitchen is fully equipped for real cooking, not just snacking - a stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, and freezer cover the basics, while cooking basics, dishes and silverware, a coffee maker, and a toaster round things out. The dining table gives the whole group a spot to sit down together at the end of the day.



Outdoor space

Step outside to a private pool with a built-in, raised spa, measuring 28' x 16', framed by palm trees and live oaks that offer both sun and shade. A patio or balcony and a BBQ grill make it easy to spend most of your time outdoors. The pool and spa can be heated for an additional fee, arranged after booking.



Bathrooms

Each of the three bathrooms includes a bathtub, hot water, a hair dryer, and cleaning products for easy upkeep during your stay.



Location

Coligny Beach Park is an 11-minute walk from the house, and the beach itself is just 3 minutes away on foot. Hilton Head Airport sits 9 miles out for those flying in. From here, you're within reach of the island's restaurants, boutiques, golf, and tennis, with Savannah and Charleston both possible as day trips for guests who want to explore beyond the beach.



Additional details

A smoke alarm, carbon monoxide alarm, and fire extinguisher are on hand for peace of mind, and self check-in with a smart lock makes arrival simple. Long term stays of 28 days or more are welcome. Essentials, bed linens, and towels are provided, along with a washer and dryer, a pack 'n play for traveling with little ones, and central air conditioning and heating to keep things comfortable year-round.

There are recommendations for bike rental companies within your Guest App. You can reserve in advance and they will deliver to you or bring your own! Almost everything you will need is within walking distance, so bring your walking shoes! There are free trolley stops at various locations throughout the island.
