We are very familiar with Hilton head and love this area. The walk to the beach is very doable. We had our own cart to pull everything. The beach facility had areas to rinse off and we bathed our dogs there too. The fenced in yard was a huge factor with our dogs. We closed off the upstairs since that space wasnt necessary for us. It was a short drive or bike ride to shopping, restaurants and sight seeing. We especially enjoyed the proximity to the nearby parks and beaches. The property management was awesome at addressing issues promptly and cheerfully. Although the Wi-Fi worked fine, the tv cable was very very slow. It was super nice easy walk to the beach and we liked the little park nearby. It was easy to get to stores etc. However, this northern end of Hilton head doesn’t have the wooden vibe of the mid area and southern area that we stayed in previously. The bikes were great but bike path up here isn’t all woodsy and shaded. We enjoyed having our pups, they loved the beach, and the little dipping pool was wonderful after a hot day on the beach. The property was perfect!! Everything we needed. The beach chairs and bikes were great!! We could ride to Shelter Cove for food and ice cream, no problem!!! Also discovered the hidden ice cream gem at the Exxon!!! Much shorter ride. The beach was much more crowded than expected, but last time we were at this location it was November 😬. Much different, but still enjoyable. Thank you for allowing our family to gather together, dogs included!
