We drove down to Hilton Head from Ontario, Canada for March Break 2024. We had two families staying together, 4 adults and 3 kids (7, 3 & 1.5 )The house is well laid out, clean, and spacious. It worked very well for our two families. Couldn’t figure out to work the TV in master bedroom, but we didn’t bother asking for help because we weren’t really using it anyway. The other two guest rooms were nice, but a bit on the smaller side. The main bathroom was large and clean with a bath tub which worked well for bathing the young ones. The bunk room was perfect for the older kids, and even came equipped with lots of colouring books, crayons, and small toys (balls, stuffies, etc) for the kids to play with. There is no door on this room, it is just tucked away behind the kitchen, but the adults were still able to play cards and be up and about at night without bothering the kids sleep at all. The kitchen was very well equipped. It had everything we needed plus more, including little plastic dishes and cups for the kids. Just remember to bring some tea towels for drying any hand washed dishes. The only thing it didn’t have that we missed was some cooking oil. Not a big deal, many grocery stores very close by. There is also a BBQ and all utensils needed for it as well. Our only real complaint was that we paid quite a bit of money (an extra $1000) for the pool and hot tub to be heated for the week, but when we arrived the neither had been cleaned or heated. When we reached out they were very responsive and had the heat turned on right away, but it wasn’t warm enough to swim in until the next day. The kids were disappointed. The pool wasn’t cleaned until a few days later. For the extra money we expected the pool to be cleaned and heated for the beginning of our stay. Everything else was great.
