Located in the small gated community of Beachwood Place off South Forest Beach Drive is the hidden gem or 1G Beachwood. This 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom villas has been recently renovated and all the comforts of home, just steps to the sand. The open floor plan give you plenty of space in the kitchen, dining and living room areas. There is a private deck off the living room that looks to the pool and onto the beach just ahead. The kitchen table seats 2 and there are 4 bar stools at the kitchen counter as well. The master bedroom with en-suite has new furniture with a cozy king bed and access to the deck. The en-suite in the master features a pedestal sink and shower. The guest bedroom has 2 twin bed and a desk for a space to work when needed. There is a bathroom in the hall as well with a tub/shower. The villa has a stocked kitchen, wireless internet and streaming television on all 3 wall mounted TVs. Beachwood Place is just off the Coligny Circle on South Forest Beach Drive. Enjoy the miles of bike paths on Hilton Head, Celebration Park, Coligny Plaza and Sea Pines, all just a short walk or bike ride from the villa. We opted for this place due to the beach location. We had found others that were larger, but you cannot beat the location! The patio faced the pool, and there was a short path that led to the beach. I thought the washer/dryer was in the unit, but it is across the hall. The only recommendation I would give is to bring your quarters from home. It was nearly impossible to find a place that would give quarters, which made doing laundry a challenge. The property is super close to shops and restaurants, so you can walk to many places. We were also surprised to find many beach items in the closet. There were some chairs, boogie boards and other things that we could use. We would definitely come back to this unit on a return trip. We are on our way back home from a 5 day stay here, and we could not have been happier with this Condo. It was clean and updated, with everything we needed for our family of 4 (really a lot of amenities- every kitchen gadget we could have needed, plenty of towels, and a closet full of beach/pool toys). We loved the view- of the pool, with the ocean beyond that. The building itself is in a great location, just a short walk to the beach, and a short beach walk to Coligny Park. The beach is just beautiful in this area. The only issue we had was that our door code did not work upon arrival but the property owners had sent plenty of communication in advance so we knew who to contact. Great place. Easy once we found it. GPS took us one drive down? Only issue, was given wrong code for gate, but quickly resolved. They even called to make sure we weren't having any issues.
